The problem with that list of Dany’s atrocities is that she always targeted people in positions of power in an attempt to protect the downtrodden. She was one only a few characters to consistently work to improve the lot of people below her in the series’ social systems.

As disappointed as I am, I don’t feel like they screwed up the ending so much as they half-assed it. It all makes sense, it’s just very boring at this point.

A lot of complaints, not all of them, but a lot, are people just looking for something to be upset about.

Agreed - though I will note that at least one of Jaime’s hands was at her neck when they died. So, she did die with “the valonqar’s hands around her neck”, sorta. :)

Credit where it’s due: Emilia Clarke has usually not been much more than a decent actress (though I’ve often defended her from critics who assert she’s bad, which I don’t think she has been), but she has been absolutely wonderful this season, even as the writing for her character has turned into a trainwreck.

What an utterly baffling episode. It’s almost like this show got cancelled and the producers clapoed their hands and said, “Mm’k, let’s get this shit over with.” And then proceeded to finish the series out in the most basic way possible while ignoring 90% of the built of mythos of the books and the last 7 seasons

The scorpions were only as accurate and powerful as the plot needed them to be.

So, I’m going to assume that general reaction to this episode will be negative.

What percentage of pro-choice women are in long-term relationships with pro-life men? I feel like the efficacy here is inherently limited by that, even if 100% of eligible candidates went along with it.

David Cross is an amazing and hilarious comedic performer and a not very funny stand-up comic.
