Having watched both, there is a level of competence just in basic filmmaking here that the Hillary Duff/Sharon Tate movie lacked. Additionally, that film took tremendous artistic license in depicting the crime itself. Is this exploitative? Sure, but not in anywhere near the same place and at least sticks to fairly

He dies kind of in the middle.

Nerds wept.

Now playing

I think I would rather watch a full movie of this:

It’s a drink, is it not? And by bringing your own, you are depriving the theater of sales of a bottle of water, are you not? Seems like you are hypocritically creating your own exception to the “No Outside Food and Drink” rule.

Exactly, none of the workers make enough money to actually give a shit what people bring in. Employees don’t care, only a small group of fussy people on the internet do.

Bought a 2 lb bag of M&M Peanuts to watch Endgame tomorrow (Tuesday). Cargo shorts are a must.

Thanks. I just hit my wife in the eye with a quarter because she brought me a drink and I instinctively tipped because of this column.

Why "my adult daughter." That was an odd qualifier.

Always tip the ticket taker. If you can’t afford to tip the ticket taker 85%, you can’t afford to go to the movies. Full stop, no exceptions.

And if you, like the ladies who sat next to me this weekend, bring an entire meal (with appetizers) from PF Changs to eat during the movie? And have to get up to wash your hands twice? And leave your smelly trash? Die in a fire.

But most theaters now sell booze themselves, so.....
