Oh don’t get me wrong it looks pretty entertaining. But still dude was fucking corpses and (I think) severed headed less than 40 years ago.

Same here in my Prius C. Commuting going 75 with cruise control on the interstate, and as soon as I pass some people they immediately get aggressive and try to swerve and pass me even though I’m not touching the gas or brakes. Makes me insane.
Weird tone for a movie about a guy who killed women and was all about that necrophilia, but otherwise looks interesting.
My recall is that he chose specific men from the jury pool who he could tell by their look or some nonsense would respect and appreciate a man who was an original, who the world wouldn’t appreciate, because of honor. It really didn’t mesh with the rest of what the book was saying because the main jury should have gone…
everything she says could be true but isn’t Azealia Banks a pretty shitty reference? Her career was about to blow up before she started attacking that boy band guy for being middle eastern, so I’m not sure how much integrity she has. Then again, ol Grimey is pretty bleh and Musk is a turd who makes cool things.
[robot voice] can only compute one issue at time. one issue is all that mattered. bzzz beep boop.
Are people actually upset with Chapelle and his writers for making fun of R. Kelly?
That looks fucking rad even though I hate Sam Elliott for having a beautiful mustache that my genetics forbid me to grow.
Country Life was my first dive into Roxy Music and I loved it, so after looking into which album I should check next Avalon was rated at the top and it was...just okay. Definitely far from my favorite of theirs. Really no clue how it is still their most popular.
Mostly agree with you about logic of SW and V needing help, but I don’t think V was healed before the end of the fight; stabilized maybe but not 100%. Could be wrong though. Even if it didn’t make sense, I’m still unashamedly going to give my “oh hell ya” when Cap steps outta the shadows because I am a child.
man for some godforsaken reason i’m watching ep 3 tonight (it’s a snowstorm in the midwest and my wife has to stay at work - on call at hospital - so home alone drunk with cats). havent watched any prequel for over 10 years and jesus christ it’s bad. but anyway, ya that’s how fucked my memory is. in my mind all SW were…
Has Eddie Murphy had a good comedic idea in 20 years?
Unless the entire point of “imagining” the quote’s relationship to Kevin Hart’s homophobia was to link to another AVClub article, maybe the point of this faux outraged article is weird, meta-level satire of the AVClub’s pov where in the author actually agrees with the Rock that people are looking to be offended.
Are you implying that the incredibly talented and honorable authors at the AV Club would write disingenuously about news and pop culture just to obtain simple ‘clicks’? Never!!!
I enjoyed all the series for what they were. Each had good parts and god awful parts, but generally I’d watch after wife went to bed at 11 or 12 at night, so when it’d get bad I’d just look at my phone.
Is it weird that my thought is I’m worried Marvel may go for quantity and lose quality like Star Wars even though there’s only 1 pretty bad SW movie and like 25-33% of MCU output has been bad/subpar (counting all films and tv eps)?
The successful film ‘Almost Cousins’ was only 52 minutes long.
just have Eddie Redmayne playing Chris Rock to host
Random story - wife and I went on our honeymoon to Scotland and took a small Scotair plane one time. Wife fell asleep on the plane and, rather than ask me to wake her up, our older female attendant leaned past me and stroked her cheek to wake her up. It startled both of us in a “what the fuck” way considering I saw it…
This was the article I remember thinking “AVC has gone full Buzzfeed absurdism that Clickhole was mocking, a la ‘9 feminists values I managed to wring out of Street Sharks’”.
