WTF, these idiots had a built in cheat code on a gas pump? That someone took advantage and was found out by greed is unsurprising,  that such a blatant coding error got through is.

Well, based on my mom being 97 and stories of my dad about her mom, I have over a 100 years of breeding when it comes to that going for me.

There are most definitely “unidentified flying objects” out there…. and the government would very much like to keep them “unidentified”… at least until they are ready to declassify them because they already have something better to replace them. 

Given the vast distances of space, the time any information from us would get across those distances, he age of the universe, the rather rigid speed of light speed limit, I am rather certain that aliens are not here and not concerned about what is up some rednecks butt. 

The key word is “unidentified”. If you identify it, it no longer meets the definition.  

When I was a kid, the flying saucer making the news sort of looked like a blurry hat. It had sharp corners and the like and would move around randomly and change shape suddenly and would never be picked up on radar.

Public transit is the only option which utilizes the infrastructure to the benefit of all persons. Roads are a shared resource but funding and distribution are a mess.

Although I am in the nuclear industry and think it is a great way forward, I can’t forget about wind. Wind is proving to be better than solar for making power. Basically for each MW of capacity you install of wind, you need to install 2 MW of solar capacity because the wind blows more often than the sun shines.

As a note, don’t stop and smell the roses, unless they are purple. My parents had a florist and it was insane how little smell a rose has now after at least a century of breeding them to look great, instead of smell great.

A 9/11 style takeover became impossible once they started locking the cockpit doors. That was the only real change they needed.

It has always been theater. A 9/11 style attack isn’t a reasonable attack vector anymore, the passengers would shut that shit down FAST. The only reason it worked like it did is because by and large when airplanes had been hijacked in the past it wasn’t to be used as a missile.

If it turns out that the victim has leaked these messages it completely undermines everything that she was bravely fighting for.
