Growing up, we were slightly west of the flight path, not much noise. My dad and I would sit on the front porch and pretend we were shooting planes down with our finger guns when they landed. But when the Blue Angels were in town for Seafair they would re-route the flight path directly over our house. My parents would

You don’t have to dick it out yourself. It comes pre-dicked.

I think I found who’s making the calls...

Imagine if these people lived near Fort Bragg (now Fort Liberty) and had to deal with the firing exercises literally every day..lol

In rural areas are small towns and small populations. Once I was sent to a rural operation for my company. Had bought a used film camera on Sunday, so wanted to see that it worked properly. Monday evening I went to a small park in the town. No one else was there. Took a few photos to get developed the next day and

Finally! A reliable chariot for the common man.

Just had a friend buy an old Volt and cannot find a replacement for the worn out batteries in the thing - he’s down to just 8-10 miles before the generator kicks on. Just as a fair warning to anyone considering that the cheap price comes with biiig asterisks.

I went to the website because I’m having a hard time seeing two different finishes on the wheels (or why it would come to be). But anyway, while on the website.....

Living close to Dulles in the mid 80's, on windy days, we would get the Concord right over my house, wheels down. Extremely cool, and very loud.

People in Anacostia have some real challenges, but I bet not a one of them is complaining about airplanes. This is straight up Ward 3 whining.

I used to live under the approach to Dulles. I remember some people moved in nearby and tried to have the entire airport shut down. Imagine having the arrogance to think you can just shut down a major international airport that was there for decades before you. Planes were coming in so often I don’t think you could

Being in the business, you meet a lot of people that have worked at other dealers, or otherwise had experience with them. There’s no rhyme or reason other than maybe urban vs. Rural dealers, with rural dealers tending to be MUCH more transparent and focused on customer service. We’re a CDJR store, and customer service

I got bullshit form the service departments also. Had one tell me that I needed new tires after 10k miles. When I asked him why, he asked me if I drove city or highway. I said I mostly drove city. He then went on a 5 3-5 minute bullshit story about “city tires” vs “highway tires”.

The numbers might add up correctly, but that doesn’t mean there’s no lies. This thing is basically built to mislead, “it’s just simple math!”

> only about one-third of Americans have actually experienced things like deceptive selling, hidden fees and dishonest salespeople at dealerships

What the fuck are you smoking? This data does not imply that perception is worse than reality. If anything, it’s the other way around. Take this example:

24% of Americans are deluded. Because 100% of dealers are lying scumbags.

QUOTE FROM ARTICLE:

Alternate headline:  Apparently 24% of Americans work at/for dealerships
