Mine's an 06, but you do well to go 08 or newer. I've had it about 3 years and NAC, the warranty company I bought from, has paid out about $17 grand in repairs. They actually stopped writing warranties on the V10s about a month after I bought mine from them.

To be fair, the M5 was the best looking e60 variant. And, that is not saying much. And the M6 looked like a sad anteater with it's tail flattened...I guess that it why it is sad, huh?
