$200K comes from people doing a direct conversion from 125K GBP. Pricing doesn't work that way. An 18K GBP Honda Jazz (Fit) doesn't cost $30K here, it's $19K.

I don't think the USD pricing has been confirmed, so it could very well start sub-200k. Often the euro price estimates include VAT etc which we do not have here in the states. Still probably won't be sub $150k though.

These "higher ups" need to face some jail time. Their actions directly put profit over people's lives. I somewhat understand if results came back and it said that for every 1 million vehicle crashes, one person could die from airbags being faulty and the costs were well above their ability to pay. But 2 out of 50?

This is just absurd. How did they not think this would come right back to them?
