I think both are driving up values though. Metzger engine plus manual make the 997 GT3 seem very old school despite it being made recently

You're right the issue is what it does to used car prices! Now none of us are ever going to have a used RS car. Instead of the 997.2 GT3 RS getting cheaper over the next 5 years it will probably be worth a lot more in 5 years time simply because it has Manuél inside.

From what I've read the TR is WAY more usable than rhe Countach. Better ergonomics and you can actually see behind you.

And in retrospect we all should have bought the Countach about 8 years ago. The rarity has caused values to skyrocket!
