People are pissed because he’s a fucking cop. He should have respect for the law. He has a duty to uphold the law. He is not above it. He should have the integrity to do the right thing, even if know ones watching. He’s held to a higher standard because he took an oath. But I guess none of that matters when a draft

As far as I can see, it’s one wide lane past the yield sign. Therefore the cop was doing what he should, which was wait for an opening. The first valid opening comes just after the guy cuts the shoulder.

At first I thought that was a crass joke about our Canadian money.

True, but there are no lane lines. Technically once you pass the end of the line marking the end of the merging lane, it’s all one lane. That “side” lane isn’t actually a lane, just a wide road.

Uh... he was yielding to traffic? There’s no separated lane for him to enter and then merge over. In this case, the cop is just fine.

Caramelized onions make great hot dog toppings.

Personally I’m more concerned about how rampant mining of cryptocurrency is using up a lot of energy and indirectly killing us.

Because it was easy and fir into the little clipshow or whatever well.

An overreaction that shows that maybe what you said applies to you.

Oh please, did you actually watch the video? Its not like they were doing a news story and using this footage as an integral part of it. It was just a 2 second clip, if that. And if you think russia couldnt scrape up video of a truck blowing up if it really mattered then you are delusional, its not like theyre showing

The clip was 2 seconds long tops in a quick succession of war clips, who cares?

OR US OFFICIALS HACKED OLYMPICS TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE RUSSIA TRIED TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE NORTH KOREA

My 2 cents: get rid of the 2nd amendment altogether.
You’re not living in Far West anymore, buffalos are extinct and natives Americans have been exterminated and humiliated. Evolve.

That’s not an unpopular opinion, just a stupid one.

America’s youngsters have created a movement that will change the future of the US.

This is absurdly hyperbolic and stupid.

After firing Damore for publishing his views, I’m not sure why other employees thought they would be protected when publishing their own views... The reality is that they made it easier for Google to defend their actions against Damore to the Labor Board by demonstrating that they followed the same procedure

And this is why people were fools for not defending Damore, even if they disagreed with him. Expressing opinions that someone will take offense to, will now get you fired. And there is always someone there to take offense.

And places like Gizmodo leave out the fact that he cited his work and can’t accept reality.

We’re done with being open to different perspectives and political viewpoints? That’s a genuinely terrifying thought.
