Are you daring to imply that people who enjoy and defend manual tranny are mistaken? Because if you are, I encourage you to learn driving one.

Oh that cartoon, that’s a pretty rare one to see on TV actually.

Heated seats in this:

I had it on 2008 Civic SI - it was shining on the gear lever to highlight the shift pattern :)

Is there no ECU adjustments available to resolve that? I know with Evo X we have quite a bit of open source decoded software adjustments we can do to the car including new functionality.

20 minute is a session length. Go ahead do as many sessions as you can that day. Also, don’t compare your off-road truck and circuit races. Off road is slow fun that you can do for hours without a break. Circuit sessions are limited to 20 mins with cool down sessions in between because cars experience a lot more heat.

20 minutes is a standard length of a circuit session. If it can last 20 mins, that’s all it needs. I am sure he had juice left, the point is he didn’t overheat. Though  a brake cooling would be helpful.

Because once you arrived at your destination, you better be acclimated to outside temperatures than leaving a sauna... it will be just more pleasant to experience less temperature gradient.

Eh, at work, can’t/shouldn’t see it :)

Not sure which one you are referring to. We have a couple movies that are played every new years, kind of like Home Alone for US, we have a couple in Russia. But not sure what’s “cartoon architecture satire”.

I never have issues with changing lanes. I don’t need to go over my shoulder to do a shoulder check.. a simple 75 degree turn gives me enough visibility to cover all the area. I don’t have blind spots that I can’t check one way or another.

As Russian, I approve :)

Yep, I also realized that no matter how hard I tried I couldn’t maintain the happiness of my partner for long, then eventually I read a book and understood that it’s not my responsibility at all. I just became happy myself and my partner became the happiest person in the world :)

“I don’t have an opinion about pineapple on pizza, because I don’t eat enough of it to have tried that combination. I don’t think I would want to.”

I agree, anything is better than plastic, but when you hike last thing you want is to drop your glass bottle and shatter it :D

It’s not that it’s not safe, it’s that when you drink tap water from places you are not from you are highly like to get diarrhea - which is not what you want in a hike :)

Eh, any self respecting barmen/chef would wash the boards and knifes. Because I would feel gross not washing those for over a day.

What’s PMO?

I don’t use good bottles in locations I go to because you have to fill them with some water. that water is not a safest bet to drink, that’s why I buy plastic bottles. I am after water there, not bottles :)
