I haven’t enjoyed slow motion in action scenes since the first time I saw 300. It doesn’t work, and most of the stuff would be more impressive and have a bigger impact at full speed.

Dialogue should always be the preferred outcome. It’s the best way to have your opinions actually make a difference.

So the company should continue paying someone who has no problem publicly posting racist messages and making fun of people because of their race? Just because he said, “I’m sorry”? No. Racism has no place in the civilized world, and that even includes sports. He may be sorry, but he’s only sorry because people are

LPT - if you have a job you care about, don’t say sexist or racist things in public venues or platforms.

He did, though, even if unintentionally. He tried to shoehorn in a joke and concept that was not part of the artist’s intention, and he did this by trying to keep “KKK witches” in the game.

The funniest part of the whole thing is Tom is the one who didn’t do any research. The Japanese company is not under obligation to make sure the Japanese version of the game will not have offensive references in the US, but the localization company is. And yet, here’s Tom wanting to keep something in the game for a

Right. But the whole point of his “don’t credit me” request was because he believed that “KKK witches” was intended by the developers and thus had to be preserved, and yet he had no real reason to assume this and did nothing to check up on it. He clearly didn’t even ask why it was removed when it was removed, or he

Except the KKK is still around and still advocating white supremacy. The german political party called the Nazis are no longer around.

You can (in my opinion, rightfully) criticize him for his stance, but you’re not doing your argument any favors by lowering yourself to vague and unhelpful insults like “commitment to your own self importance” and “being an asshole”. Point out why you think he is wrong by all means, but by being this unnecessarily

Actually, in this case, because the “KKK” reference was not intended to have that meaning, better localization would change it to something else so that the original meaning/intent is better preserved. “KKK witches” would definitely change the intended meaning, something the literal localizers claim to hate.

You may say they’re not Christian because they don’t align with Christ’s teachings, but they definitely self-describe themselves as a Christian organization.

You might’ve even read that in the article you’re commenting on. And I’d say it’s more likely people bought the game so when they can find a Switch they already have it.

They basically did with the Thor Civil War bits.

They initially only showed it to developers. Not really surprising or strange.

You have the names backward. Haha. Mandela effect in action.

I love Agents of Shield. By no means a perfect show, but it nonetheless keeps me entertained these days.

I meant it to be funny.

From who? He definitely wasn’t with Obiwan for a year before he got killed to death.

I think Gex 64 was the game that taught me games could be bad. I still played it, because I owned it, but man, it was so bad.

If all this is true, the Switch seems like a better purchase than the Xboxes, considering there are very few exclusives for it.
