Disney could include Marvel, and Star Wars and Indiana Jones and Muppets. It’d be great.
A Disney Smash clone is something I’ve wanted for a while. Simba vs Darth Vader vs Iron Man vs Kermit the Frog? Count me in.
You’re showing it too much respect at $50.
Maybe just treat people with respect even if their work isn’t great. Besides, there are many contributing factors to why the animations are stiff, and ability probably isn’t one of them.
Someone’s sad they don’t have BoTW.
Tried playing Sonic CD last year. The fast parts were autopilot with the occasional obstruction I could see only after I hit it, and when you slow down, it’s awful, slow, and floaty. The levels are designed to encourage exploration, but the controls work against that.
Too literal-minded to comprehend anthropomorphizing?
Wish I still did. I loved my Genesis.
I used to say the same thing. Then I tried playing them when I was an adult and had the ability to realize a game could be bad. Trying to replay Sonic 2 and Sonic CD on Xbox made me realize the games are pretty bad, even the best ones.
No Sonic game is good, so the distinction is unnecessary.
2D Sonic isn’t good either, but it has nostalgia.
Buying a console only for a game that isn’t out yet is always a dumb idea, especially when it’s a 3D Zelda game. They always get delayed, often about a year.
I could take down a walker with nothing but a pot lid and a few seconds. Lynels are the true beasts.
When holding the shield, pressing A will perform a parry. A perfectly timed press will stop just about any attack in the game, often leaving the attacker vulnerable. With the walking guardians, they reach a point where they stop walking when they’re close enough. Parry as soon as the blue laser flash starts and…
The best method (before getting special tools) is to parry the laser blast with your shield (A button). 3 perfect parties and you’ve killed it.
Yes. Clearly the game got such great reviews for some reason other than the game, despite it being fantastic. I hated shield degradation in Skyward Sword, but it works beautifully in BoTW. It feels similar to playing a Halo campaign, where you have to keep the good ammo for tougher enemies and use your standard…
No. You need those guardian parts, and there really aren’t very many full sized guardians on the map. Once you learn how to take them out, they’re pretty easy. I’m fairly confident I could get into Hyrule castle with early gear and 3 hearts. Parrying is fantastic.
We would be worrying about inventory management a lot more if we had to travel to a blacksmith every time a cool weapon breaks. Can you imagine playing Halo and then leaving a level to go get more rocket ammo? It’d break the momentum.
You can always pull up the map and fast travel!
