I’m in favor of a gradual increase in age until it’s no longer legal. It won’t happen because people are stupid, but it would benefit everyone and hurt no one in the long run.

Nah. CRISPR will be at the center of sci-fi stuff, but not for genetically modified produce. CRISPR could make a human 12 foot tall, cure cancer, or pretty much whatever you want. And it’s cheap.

As a society as a whole, we are moving away from tobacco. Granted, Big Tobacco may kill vaping just yet and become just as big as it used to be, but who knows. Either way (as a smoker), I think it’s good to put restrictions on tobacco. Honestly, I think tobacco should be outlawed.

My local comic shop lost my business on picking up individual issues after not having the second issue of the current Black Panther run two days after it came out and with no plans on ordering more. So now I’m sticking to trades.

It’s like a girl but bigger! Run!

But Thor’s a girl and girls are scary!

“Everything he does someone else does better.” This can be said about almost everyone.

I think you’re assuming because Halo 5 doesn’t make a ton of headlines like Overwatch that the community died down. It hasn’t. Halo 5 multiplayer is very active still and a ton of fun.

I’m not sure how you can say this game wasn’t complete. It definitely was. The campaign was a let down for sure, but I’m not sure how you can say the game was incomplete, except for Forge itself.

King of Tokyo was made by the guy who created Magic The Gathering, though it's much more accessible.

You just need an easy sort-and-store option, really.

Not sure if you mean specifically a board game, but my friends and I have been having weekly game nights for the past 6 months or so. We play, mostly, Marvel Legendary, King of Tokyo, or Smash Up. Marvel Legendary is a card game that’s insanely customizable, in which your team of heroes has to stop the mastermind

I’m just saying that it may be communicating things fairly well. There may be more symbolism in it that we can’t pick up yet.

People have all sorts of different explanations, but really, canon just wasn’t much of a concern until pretty recently. The books took the movies as canon, but the movies never acknowledged the books. The truth is that people just wrote Star Wars books, and there wasn’t much of a worry about an official canon, at

You simply have no way of knowing they put no thought into it.

Dinosaurs are cooler than ever, and I’m not sure you can really say they’re lamer when you haven’t been keeping up to date with Dino stuff. Anklyosaurus still has no feathers. T Rex probably had protofeathers as a baby but may have shed them as an adult (though we simply don’t know). But most feathered dinos look

You forgot the best option: people in rubber suits.

Oh for sure. Whedon’s nowhere near as good a filmmaker as Gunn. But I don’t think it’s fair to equate a legit racial problem with an argument about privacy or security. There’s something to be said on both sides of the latter.

And still probably not as much as if he sold it when he first got it.

That’s like asking why somebody goes out to eat at a restaurant. You could spend less money and use better ingredients if you eat at home instead of at Olive Garden or Outback Steakhouse, but people still go out.
