“Why do people worry about gun control? It’s already illegal to shoot people.”
“Why do people worry about gun control? It’s already illegal to shoot people.”
I often leave Pokemon Go running while I drive, because the way it calculates distance for eggs is terrible and I often end up with more “walking” distance driving 40 minutes to work at 55-65 mph than I do actually walking the real distance. There are some pokestops and gyms that really don’t make sense, since they’re…
The difference with Ingress is that Ingress doesn’t have anything akin to the wild pokemon popping up while you drive. With Ingress, I believe, you have to be near a portal to do anything, so there’s nothing you’d really be able to do randomly on a highway or anything.
As a hardware maker, you’re right. As a software maker, you’re incredibly wrong. Nintendo still pumps out amazing games.
Do you have any idea how much money Nintendo has? They could operate at a huge loss and survive another 50 years.
“Like coffee in the lap and all that nonsense.” You obviously have no idea what you're taking about. The woman who sued McDonalds for hot coffee suffered 3rd degree burns. She had every right to win that lawsuit.
Well obviously it wouldn’t be to replace the phone, but to allow you to pause your game and use phone services from the same device. You finish a race in Mario Kart? Answer that text without switching devices. Riding a train while playing LEGEND OF Zelda? Get an alert when a rare Pokemon pops up so you can capture it…
Could always be Bluetooth compatible at the least.
The slow parts of classic Sonic games are the worst. Not running through the level on autopilot at blazing fast speeds? Then you have to deal with the terribly sluggish controls and annoying physics Sonic has when not running. Just awful. I thought it was only new Sonic that was bad (loved it as a kid) but after…
This game clip shows what I hate about Sonic - the only enjoyable parts of Sonic are when it's basically on autopilot.
“Sentences aren’t severe enough.” Actually, increasing the severity of punishment isn’t really a good large-scale answer to these things. The long-term solution is changing the culture so that young men don’t immediately resort to violence when they feel belittled.
Do you have battery saver turned on? That seemed to cause all the freeze ups for me. Since I turned it off I've only had it freeze a couple times (usually when I level up).
Being able to turn it off makes the feature pointless. The purpose of the game is to get out and interact with the area. I drive around from place to place sometimes, but even for passengers there’s no reason to need to be able to interact with the map. Let people play with settings and their inventory and stuff, but…
Where does the app say it wants to promote health? Seems like the app just wants to promote catching Pokemon.
The screen should go black as soon as you’re going more than like 15 mph.
It’s caked Pokemon Go, not Pokemon Sit At Home and Wait. There's a reason for that.
You have no arguments that are actually about guns. The only argument you make are really poor attempts at reduction ad absurdum that don't really understand how it works.
Again, cars serve an important purpose that non-hunting guns do not. But continue ignoring facts and arguments you have no retort for, and keep trying to prove guns should be legal by trying to say cars and guns are the same (they are not: cars primary purpose is not to kill).
In any of those situations you mentioned, his response would’ve still been inappropriate unless he has special training. Citizens don’t have the right to execute based on witnessed crimes, and he has no right to point the gun at someone who isn’t posing immediate danger to someone that could be prevented only by his…
My understanding of the law is lacking, but I hope at the least they are able to strip him of his right to legally own a gun.
