Well the cgi isn't done, so wait until the final trailer to see if they don't mesh.

This is insanely early. So much more detail will be added, lighting and filters will improve its look and better blend the physical and digital elements. I would be surprised if Duncan Jones didn’t work hard to make it look great. I wouldn’t be worried about the visuals until we see, at least, the first trailer. But

I’ve never heard anyone use the word pedantic without sounding pretentious But now that I’ve said it, I too am pretentious.

To me this didn’t feel like a trailer, but more of a sampling for the general tone of the movie. I’m excited, because this doesn’t look like a mainstream Hollywood movie. It looks different from any film I’ve seen visually, and yet it looks that the story will rightfully treat both sides as worthy characters, each

Duncan Jones made a great movie and a good movie. I assume this will be somewhere in that spectrum. If it is, I’ll be pleased.

And you’re basically criticizing this movie for having a unique visual style. What made Lord of the Rings mainstream was that nothing in it was new in the visual interpretation. It was a

I know you’re being facetious but the death penalty costs even more than keeping them in jail for life. The appeals process takes years and years and costs a ton of taxpayer dollars. More evidence that restorative justice is better for individuals, better for tax payers, and better for society.

Actually, it costs us here in NY about $25,000 per year per inmate to keep in prison. Now, the reincarceration rate is about 40% right now, but it’s about half of that for folks who receive education in prison (don’t worry, it’s not costing precious tax payer money, it’s all from philanthropy).

And yet statistics show that punitive systems like ours have an insanely high reincarceration rate compared to restorative/rehabilitative justice systems, and our system is more expensive to boot.

If it’s that important to you that you have every variation of every Skylanders toy and Amiibo, you deserve to have to spend a stupid amount of money to get there. Get the ones you like if you can, ignore the rest, and go do something productive.

He’s making a game about Czechs. It’s fine if all the characters are Czechs. That is an underrepresented minority’s in games. Just because they’re not the “right” kind of minority doesn’t make it bad.

Your problem is you're looking at individual games and not the industry as a whole, and I mean all media, not just games. The truth is that the more people see women, minorities, and queer folk normalized in their entertainment, the more likely they are to see those groups as normal in real life. It's just like Fox

It must be easy arguing against straw men and not actual people.

Until 2016, the Xbox One will have more to offer than PS4,

PT made with that new Occulus controller would be insanely terrifying.

Just because there are people who won’t be scared by a VR horror game, doesn’t mean it’s not a legitimately scary experience for most.

Why was I commenting on a ten month old comment? Because I just read them for the first time and the internet keeps things around for a while so people can still discover ten month old content. Amazing, right?

There’s no Carl’s Jr or Hardees near me, so I have no idea what they’re like. But with a good homemade patty, a hofmann hot dog, a couple chips, lettuce, and tomato, that would be one delicious burger.

Nintendo pretty regularly waits until a technology is at the crossroads of affordability and entertainment. They’ve experimented with VR, which means they have some idea of where they want the technology to go before they release a headset, if they ever decide to.

We all understand why people are disappointed in the game, but people who played it at e3 seemed to enjoy it quite a bit, even though they admitted the game was ugly even when you’re playing it. The art style is bad, and I think they should’ve called it “Federation Force Prime”, keeping the Prime name so people know

What crusade? You show an extreme example to discredit all people. It doesn't work that way. I went to a super liberal college and none that I heard or talked to ever claimed such a thing.
