Yeah I’m black and don’t know most of this. I think something that’s not made clear is that this is Black American* history. The history us blacks outside the US were taught in school was completely different.

I think you should look at your settings. I’m not sure why you are seeing everything people “like”. Also maybe look into using a third party client to read twitter. People have different preferences, but I like Twitterific the best.
