I get that, I really do. If the rock star in question looks like in-their-prime David Lee Roth or Robert Plant. Or even the guy from Counting Crows.

Marilyn Manson might as well wear a neon sign that says “I torture women.” I’d more more surprised to learn that he was a kind and respectful partner.

I have a couple that I liked:

The actors, being so actor-y, in the B&W video, holding back tears.....was so much sillier than the Imagine video. 

It does not work. It sets in motion a chain reaction. A person is shamed, and then lies in wait for his shamer to slip up, so that he can do some shaming right back. It grows outward, in a negative way, picking up more people (like Katamari) from there.
