Very slim, and only because Alabama has a Republican governor. Good on Democrats for forcing out Franken if only for political expediency, but it’s gonna be real fun watching them twist in the win if/when (probably when) there are credible allegations against a D Senator in a R governor state. Don’t think the

Jumped too quickly

Assuming Kevin Durant can stop getting himself ejected (never thought I’d be writing that...), the Warriors will cruise even without Curry, I imagine.

Yeah, this bill is very bad, but Eichenwald’s tweet is nutso bullshit.

I love Interiors. *high five*

Oh, absolutely. It’s like they say, “Woody makes a movie a year, whether he has an idea or not.” A simplification, of course, but the routine of making a movie is his preferred mode, so we end up with things like Small Time Crooks, which is pretty half-baked (that’s a joke there for those who have sat through that

Vice is essentially an entirely media outlet full of that guy in journalism school who thinks he’s Hunter Thompson.

He also once said “Socially Liberal and Fiscally Conservative is just another way of saying ‘punk’,” which may be the saddest old-guy-at-the-party statement ever made.

What’s funny is that Allen actually agrees with you, and offered to make a movie for MGM for free if they’d agree not to release it, but they didn’t take him up on that offer.

“Trash” is probably a little harsh for Bradshaw — he may not be as good as “4-time Super Bowl winning QB” implies, but he still QBed a team that won 4 Super Bowls. Trash QBs don’t do that. Namath’s “won the big one once and never really did anything else” sticks out quite a bit farther.

I eat half of it sideways, then drop what remains on a plate and mush the rest together with a fork, and then finish. Delicious.

If someone gave me a choice between everlasting love and fried chicken, I’m going with fried chicken every time. I can trust in and believe fried chicken.

Darren Aronofsky (and Nicholas Winding Refn, for that matter) is one of those guys who is so *desperate* to be seen as an artíste that he often ends up making try-hard jerk-off bullshit that veers straight into camp and then blames the audience for not connecting with it in the right way. When he does make Oscar-bait

And just think, if Doc had been willing to part with his doofus son last year, the Clippers could’ve had Carmelo, Chris Paul probably sticks around for the last year of his contract, and Austin doesn’t fuck up Blake’s knee. I’m not saying Carmelo makes them serious contenders (still no bench), but it would certainly

I feel the exact same way. Where is the impetus for this shift coming from? I know when I click a link and see that it’s a video, I back out and find something else to do. I imagine they’re just measuring clicks? A lot of these videos don’t warn you that they’re videos beforehand. I feel like I’m taking crazy pills.

It’s 2017, we don’t like anyone anymore.

Honestly, I’d prefer that. I don’t want to watch Tony Stark die, for example, I just want him to exit stage for a while and come back for a big applause scene in a later movie. I don’t really get the grumbling about “no meaningful deaths.” Why does that matter? Stakes can be big without having to wipe out good

I like this, and I hope it doesn’t get lost at the bottom of the comments.

To be fair, they used to drop that shit on Billy Gunn all the time for whatever damn reason, too (I think they were just trying to find something to make people interested in him because he was one of their chosen blonde white dudes, but no one gave a shit when he was on his own — also, now that I’m thinking about it,
