I apologize. I’m sure this has caused a great deal of pain for you. I will make sure to submit my comments to a peer review next time before publishing.

It’s “select, start.” Two person game my friend.

Damit! Math fail.

Not to nit pick, but a 255 tire is a foot wide. A 325 is 15.36 inches. That’s fucking huge.

Pictures have never been kind to the R8. But in person, my god it’s beautiful.

No street cars are designed to survive 120mph+ impacts. If you manage to survive you were lucky. I don’t know if these cars were race prepped with proper safety equipment, if not this would be a start. Outside of that, it’s more about track safety in my opinion. No body with little to know experience should step into

Why didn’t they mention the 964 Turbo S Flachbau? Only 76 were built and they seem to command even more money than the “standard” 964 Turbo S.

The problem with STI, RS, and EVO is most have been beat up after 10 years. If you manage to keep one in good condition with a moderate amount of miles (<100k), then long term they could do quite well. Obviously their depreciation is pretty minimal even now.

The Solstice Coupe will be a collector. Maybe 1200-1500 produced.

Subaru Impreza Outback Sport. Cheap, safe, AWD, decent to drive, reliable, and it’s a hatchback.

Pics or it didn’t happen.

If you can only have one, get the Turbo S. Much more practical, can be driven year round in the snow, can still fit a couple of younger kids in the back, way more comfortable to drive, and won’t scrape every driveway (yes I know you can get the axle lift for the RS).

Does anyone see the irony in Trump bashing the automakers for making cars in Mexico, yet the most searched brand in the US is Toyota and the most searched brand in Mexico is Chevy? I think we need to do some soul searching first.

The new Panamera looks great. It deserves to be part of the Porsche brand. I don’t view the Panamera as a “hardcore” sedan but more of a GT/Luxury cruiser with a sporty touch. At a recent track event Porsche had a previous generation Panamera Turbo S at the track for rides, and it was hitting 140mph on the back

We just need to make sure to take all the oil this time. Then peace.

They already do, it’s called the Macan. Soccer moms will only buy it if it’s labeled an SUV, but us Jalopniks know the truth.

My best track day ever was in a 2005 Subaru STI on a soaking wet Grattan Raceway with summer tires. My face hurt for several days after from having a non-stop shit eating grin for 8 hours straight. I also learned more about spin/sliding control than at any other time.

I originally was considering a BMW 2-series, but then I found out that the new Mini Clubman (Countryman’s lower, less pissed off cousin) is based on the same platform as the 2-series. For a lot less money I bought a much better equipped Clubman, with AWD, a 6-speed manual, 4 doors plus a hatch, and better leg room.

I drove my C4S in a fresh 6 inches of snow the other day for the first time. I had no where specific I needed to go, but told my wife I’d be back in a couple of hours.

Later in the day they closed a 150 mile stretch of I-25 to commercial trucks and buses. I lost three trees right in front of my office. The wind was insane for a good 24 hrs.
