Most of the FSD videos online show several interventions required within a 10-20 minute clip while driving in city environments. That’s about 1 incident per 10 miles conservatively?

Is anyone else worried that Ford’s involvement could ruin Rivian? Not necessarily financially, but in terms of innovation and exciting/differnt EV’s?

I went from a Porsche Panamera 4S to an Audi RS5 to an Audi E-tron. My wife went from an Audi Q7 to a Volvo XC90 to a Tesla Model X.

Yes power is exciting. But most EV’s offer better thrills from power than ICE cars. Tesla being the most obvious example. Once you experience this, most ICE cars feel slow to respond without the instant throttle response.

I support reparations of some kind. I fear that cash reparations will not be popular (and could back fire) and may not be the most effective means of helping increase the overall wealth of black people. Wealth seems to be the most obvious indicator of racial inequality in our country.

I wonder how much of the auto industry slow down is impacting Tesla sales. Elon appeared to overstate the Model 3 demand, but this also could be bad timing from an overall industry standpoint. Times are getting harder to sell a $35k+ sedan.

I’m okay with the EV credit, but I think it shouldn’t be manufacturer dependent. Just phase it out completely after some predetermined number of years.
