We do roads trips all the time in our Model X. Works great.

The Model X is more powerful, faster (even though it’s heavier), and has 90 more miles of range.

Kessler Syndrome.

Audi S5 Sportback?

That looks like my grandparent’s living room.

I’ve lived through numerous layoff’s over the past 20 years (including the auto industry). Most companies do not give the employees a heads ups that layoffs are coming. My current employer, following a year of record revenue and profit, decided to cut 10% of our engineers. No reason given other than we hired too many

You can set charge times for most EV’s based on charging rates. So if your utility charges more from 8am-6pm then you can set the vehicle to charge from 6pm-8am to take advantage of the lower rate. You can always override with the mobile apps to start charging at any time if needed.

I would like to see the test results for the Mustang.

There is a thread on the Tesla forums which shows the A/C pulling 2.4kw to start and then 0.660kw once it reaches steady state. So my guess is still on the order of 1kw on average.

An air conditioner for a small room plugged into a 120V outlet uses about 1500 watts when running. So assuming the car uses 2/3 of that (1000 watts) it would take roughly 60 hours to go from a fully charged 75kwh battery to 20%. My guess is the A/C in a Tesla uses even less wattage so it would probably take a lot

In the mid 90's I was heading over to a friend’s house in rural Michigan. I was 16 at the time, driving in a heavily wooded area, and slightly lost. Suddenly I come across this house and see a very hair guy mowing his lawn in nothing but a pink thong. I almost drove my car into a tree. Decided not to go back that

I’m assuming this means if a Democrat takes the White House in 2020, they can use an executive order to ban guns?

They should park the van right outside of Mar-o-lago.

Why does the tow truck look like it just came from a Paintball match?

The Model 3 generated more than $3 Billion in revenue in Q3. More than any other car (not including trucks or SUVs) in the US. This doesn’t include the 27,000+ Model S and X vehicles they sold in Q3. It doesn’t take a huge profit margin to make $300 Million in profit on over $3B in revenue.

I agree. I really enjoyed the last season and felt like the trio finally hit their stride. And now another shake up?

Same here. I currently have a Panamera Sport Turismo that I was planning on trading in for the Taycan. But if the final product looks like this I’ll hold off and maybe wait for the Cross Turismo version.

This really needs to be a fully electric car. The 1.5L motor doesn’t sound that great anyway.
