Want to start a pool to see how many days before he crashes? I’ve got 47.
Getting a V8 is the whole reason for getting a muscle car.
I just saw my first i8 up close at the local BMW dealership a few weeks ago. Potentially the most stunning car I’ve ever seen. The white/black/blue combo looks unreal. I truly felt like I had just walked through a time machine and it was 2040.
It's Pra(_|_)ga

Here in Colorado I pay an extra $50 a year for EV registration. When you do the math, assume 45 mpg and 12,000 miles per year, it equals the equivalent of an $0.1875 per gallon tax. Seems fair to me.
Right before the BMW was a driveway. Maybe the BMW had just pulled out onto the road and was taking their sweet ass time speeding up.
I love watching interviews with Andreas, and he has my dream job.
My car is a super car "lite". I purchased a new 981 Cayman S last fall. This was by far my most expensive car purchase ever (sticker was $82,500). My daily driver is a Nissan Leaf (insert treehugger joke here), and my wife drives a new Audi Allroad (insert reliability joke here).
I love this car. But that is some serious coin for a Ford. The Ferrari 458 is a total masterpiece starting at $243,000, and the 488GTB looks like it will even be more impressive. I just don't see the GT being superior to the 488GTB in looks/performance/interior for more money.
We occasionally have these flying around Colorado Springs. I always sit there in awe at how it can actually fly. I am an engineer and have a pretty good understanding of physics, but it still doesn't seem possible.
It does impact the range a little. But I've been driving my car for two winters now without ever running the battery below 20%. That includes commuting to work and running errands during the day.
Some automakers, like Volkswagen, have figured out to integrate an electric heater with an old school design, but I'd love to see the possibility of efficient electric heat explored more.
I saw one in Manitou Springs, CO last week. They seem to pop up everywhere.
This is where (I hate to say it) I would prefer a hybrid option. I'll take a naturally aspirated engine torque filled by a mid-sized battery back and electric motor over a turbo charged engine.
Might be the last of the 6-speed, naturally aspirated Porsches. This will go down as the "911 RS" of 21st century. Cheap as a base 911, but so much more.
