Even just looking at the title before reading the article I guessed this had to do with leasing. I’ve seen many people confused by this. They think that as the lessee they are entitled to the credit. I’m sure the dealers are happy to mislead people on this too.

People don't cheat on their taxes. Must have been one of those car salesman trixsters at the bottom of this.

Bull. Shit. Just because they saw it coming and ducked doesn’t mean they were a part of it. They were punished for failing to silence someone.

It really is curious that dealers haven’t adopted the real estate model. Attractive salespeople (largely female) doing a job with very little value added to convince you to pay as much as possible for something they had no hand in designing or building. Imagine getting a negotiated price handed to you from an

Nope, women get the short end of the stick for sure. When I worked for a Toyota dealer, we used to “up” women on the lot. My co-workers would see one coming and say things like “Here comes a walking bonus check” or “Wonder why she’s by her self. She single? Probably a huge C*nt, you deal with her!” I can’t imagine

The “Nazi Zombies Run” will replace the NYC Marathon in 2020.

Ahhhhhhh, those are the on-board cameras, thank you!! I had assumed the yellows were to differentiate between drivers, I just couldn’t identify the actual purpose.

The Raven motor doesn’t change the dynamics any, just more efficient. The new suspension in the S X make it better for spending more time in, as does the latest generation seats. I love it. I have a P85(106k miles), a P100DL (7k miles), and have driven Model 3s of various configurations for a couple thousand miles.

Replied to BMW with this on Insta as a joke. They deleted their ad just a few hours later. Hope I wasn’t responsible...

Do they? THat would be glorious and I am looking forward to it

Limo crash tests use a completely different test due to the fact that the hookers usually aren’t wearing their seat belt and cocaine is a hell of a drug.

Side seating issues? But wait, how about limos?

You are exactly right.  Similar to your small town scenario is the suppliers for the big OEM’s.  If the OEM closes, you can expect about 20-30 supplier to be impacted and either layoff or shut down.  Even in a metroplex the size of DFW, the impact is huge.  Thousands of people will be in the unemployment line this

Isn’t this basically what CarMax does? If i am remembering correctly, their sales people are either hourly or salary but they earn bonuses based on selling XX amount of cars or something. There’s no haggling. They offer an extended warranty if you want more assurance.

Am I the only one that looks at the Rivian/Amazon van and thinks that it’d make a killer RV conversion with windows, etc?

It’s some form of calculation error. 1/19/38 is a 32-bit integer max date.

For fuck sake, can we have an under-car picture?
