I think a GT3 spec Corvette makes more sense than the GTLM category. Being 5% faster for $100m invested isnt the reason people like to watch, just a big field of some awesome cars and awesome teams is why.

I would have loved if they did something like how southpark made skin color a difficulty setting. For CP2077 it could be the dick/boob sizes actually affected the character Cool stat, +1 pt for large, -1pt for small.
I was surprised the limit on body shapes. Even just a small range to change how toned the character is without having to worry about horribly deformed clothing. They have random people walking down the street in a number of body shapes, so hopefully the just test a bunch of outfits and cutscenes then add it. Same for…
Agreed, the tax credit limit per company means no company benefits by being first. If it was the first million EVs sold, you would see some of them try to ramp up fast and get their cars out there to become the standard EV before the competition shows up. I also think it should taper down by price, so if your EV is…
A proper plug in hybrid would want to run on battery only up to a certain speed. If their goal was racing tech that trickles down to real life advancements, they sure missed the mark here.
Everyday I work from home I play a deadly game of chicken when I let my cat jump on the desk.
I think the CT wasn’t styled, it was just engineered. Its basically something where no money was put into anything other than function. Its definitely not for everyone, but I wonder if its features make it great for taking a beating.
Wait, does this mean my love of Russell is a sign that I might be....
A friend of mine had his Model 3 hit around the rear tire. Replacing that rear quarter panel required cutting it off the body and that also included removing the glass roof and door. I wish I had photos of the repair to see what it looked liked disassembled, but the total was over $17,000 for something you wouldnt…
CR said it doesn’t have enough data to give the car a reliability score
Jalopnik found a sad photo of Russell and thought thats the image they should use for this news....
Tesla would be the premium luxury side and Mitsubishi the cheap economy version of the same cars. Same way Toyota/Lexus works.
Mitsubishi, cause I loved them growing up and I forget they exist today.
I just love how in FE you can almost have racing as a contact sport. No drag and wheel to wheel isnt an instant crash. I hope in a few years FE grows big enough and gets enough battery advancement they can use full tracks with runoff area rather than these really tight tracks with just barriers. Also they need to fix…
I think a bit more can be done so the cars are safer regarding not being able to crash. Open wheeled cars have a nasty habit of rubber on rubber contact flipping over a Stroll. I like how Formula E cars can touch each other and no one goes flying. They might be a bit toooo durable though.
In a replay I timed it at 28 seconds from impact to getting out of the fireball.
So what you are saying is car’s should also come in boxes that are overly engineered and pretty and full of waste so they don’t need that extra detailing.
Well said. I wonder if over time each one will just focus on what they do best. Things like Extra Gear might take on reviews and interviews leaving Top Gear to just pull shenanigans with its clown crew (not complaining).
There are a few clear different things GT/TG do
Try finding a 27-28” tall tire that isn’t twice as wide, these things are abnormal both on how narrow and tall they are, making aftermarket options very weird. You either get truck tires with decent sidewall, or you get 300 wide drag radials designed for 10" deep rims.
