So instead of driving to my local store, I should go an hour away to a farmers market to buy groceries there? That sounds like a great way to burn more gas. The stuff I get from Amazon I cant get nearby or does not justify me driving out to a very specific store when I can bundle it with other things.

As a consumer I can pick what products to buy, but where do I get milk that isn’t in plastic jugs, or bread not in a plastic sleeve, I cant tell Amazon to skip the box and packing materials and just drop off my junk at the door.

I want to love Destiny, but I am stuck only liking it. The gameplay is phenomenal, the number of things to play with are vast.

Exactly. Every company is doing a shit job of advertising exactly what their product does. The word hands-free comes up so often, but zero system seems to be hands free. By doing a very slow rollout lets people get to see the tech for real, and Tesla is minimizing (or nearly minimizing) the potential for abusers

Level 2 seems to cover such a wide range that I don’t understand the hatred towards it.

Did a chrome-delete on my Tesla. Plastidip is awesome. Still have the trim below the door to do, which is going to be ‘fun’ since its partial exposed and partially covered by the door. Did most of this way back in May when I drove exactly 8 miles total that month.

Yeah, the MachE and F150 EV are probably the 2 most interesting non-Tesla’s coming out. They are going after markets that can easily absorb a million EVs and can easily convert non believers to realizing EVs make sense, if they work out.

People: “We gotta stop with these expensive EVs and get us something affordable, like actually under $25k

Its funny to think about how every idea he has can with one tiny adjustment be a Bond-villain level threat.

I’m starting to think there is a market for seat covers for the driver seat that say:

Yeah, reservation page shows 2022, only the top 2 trims will probably have a 2021 model.

Good analogy with David/Goliath

The $72k Tesla comes with AWD and you can get it now.

There are some challenges though when it comes to buying a car even at MSRP, its that the dealership adds options that are ‘factory installed’, like all weather floormats, and they charge you $250 for them. I tried to argue that I didn’t want them, they were still in the trunk sealed up and I told them to remove them,

It is again bending on price. Tesla spends a whole lot of time pretending that it’s not a normal car company but really, now that it’s past the whole startup phase, it is.

This roasting is making me miss the people who made this site so awesome.

The big heatsink can really help keep temperature down, and the big fan can help keep noise down.

And even if they could figure that out, what were they going to do? Glue the roof on properly? Duct tape it in place and go back to the Tesla dealer?

If it was right after people would more likely say immediately after, or moments later. Exaggeration in stories usually leans to the direction that sounds more exciting for the story teller.
