Zoom’s ability to grow their revenue is not limited by factories and supply chains like automakers have to deal with. Its why the tech industry can have a PE ratio well past 100, and most large companies surviving on traditional product sales have a PE of 10-20. People keep saying Tesla is a tech company not a car

Their current stock price means they should be making more cars than GM, and still have growth that people believe will go unchallenged for the next decade.

Thats exactly the point, some deaths might be COVID misdiagnosis, but many are likely deaths caused by normal things that all just became 5% more lethal because COVID is preventing people from getting the normal care they need.

You can almost carbon date any car by looking at its steering wheel. So much changes every couple of years with wheel design, materials, shape, button quality, paddles, etc. They should have tried replacing it with a custom one, but I can imagine that being a pain. The car is just old enough to have a wheel that looks

I wish people were talking about the big increase in overall deaths, not just COVID deaths.

A Model S and Model 3 both have nearly identical yearly costs. The energy cost is off by $23 in my test, and the annual cost was off by just $23 too, as if they both have the exact same costs for everything else, which makes no sense. Their assumptions page shows they made a large number of short cuts for everything

The Leaf definitely had issues with battery life, and they probably set back EV adoption for a large number of owners. But since then actual battery life is awesome, with most degrading slower than expected and battery replacements being incredibly rare.

People seem to forget that these more expensive EVs also have better maintenance and cheaper fueling. People should expect to save about $5k-$10k in usage costs compared to a gas equivalent across 5 years. The tech and infrastructure isnt there yet, but its working well to replace $30k cars right now, soon it will do

I feel like the past few years were great, then this year is just non stop wheels flying off in every direction.

You are putting a lot of effort in this comment section to actively promote racism. Your username even seems to be about white supremacy.

I image myself as Peter Parker asking “Is it too late to start reading/watching One Piece?”

The video felt very amateur. There are a bunch of Gran Turismo Vision projects, and this one is like those, but got a D+

This looks like a Tesla van launch. Elon sees some designer’s random drawing, says its awesome looking and they should ship it out without making any changes. Designer begs “but I haven’t even added doors.”, Elon replies “No changes!”

An email thanking me for my interest in preordering would be nice, to know it actually worked.

EVs will not work for mass market just because its an EV.

Its sad when you speed read the title and think Pandemic is one of Porsche’s models.

Saw the article at Electrek and didnt realize it was a $1500 hack. That right there just make it seem stupid to spend so much instead of getting the real deal for a few $s more.

So lawmakers are... changing the law. I fail to see the issue here.

This is how I feel

They are there to be wankers and rockstars.
