Yeah, The Ramones really don't get enough credit for how much they shook things up with their sound, particularly in the 80's when they tried to incorporate synths and hardcore elements.

I re-watched Above The Law recently, and it reminded me that there was a time when Seagal was charismatic enough that you forgot (or at least forgave) the fact that he couldn't act.

Jesus, it almost sounds like they deliberately went out of their way to adhere to every cliché.

I'm gonna go ahead and mentally emphasize the latter sentiment, because I do love the horror genre so much. It's kinda sad that this means There'll be a Ouija sequel, But I do like any sentiment that emboldens the genre as a great place for nascent filmmakers to cut their teeth.

Really? I mean, the ending was a major bummer, but it felt like a natural conclusion to all the disorienting madness that was happening up to that point.
