It’s basically like talking to Trump supporters. “Biden is a respectable guy who would never do the things we have evidence of him doing!” or "How dare you besmirch Biden by directly quoting him!"

CatsPyjamas loves to support centrist American politicians and then mention that they can’t vote in American elections, so this is par for the course. 

And I’ll repeat...if Joe Biden doesn’t drop out and he loses because of these allegations, that is his fault.

I’ve come to accept that the commentariot on this site are waaaay more reactionary and conservative than some of the writers that draw me to it in the first place.

They will never admit any fault or culpability. It will be the fault of the left, of progressives, of ‘purity politics’ and on and on.

This is why people don’t come forward. You talk about being raped, and somebody’s going to be like “Well, one time she left a yelp review that seemed, frankly, rude. I bet she’s just a lying slut.”

Really? It’s nothing new. Just go to any story on Fox News about Christine Blasey Ford and read the comments there. Nearly indistinguishable. 

“I do not discount Christine Blasey Ford’s story, but the timing is interesting. Brett Kavanaugh has been in the public eye for decades. Now that he’s about to be a Supreme Court Judge, this is coming out. Hmmm”

I guess I’ll just start popping some despair popcorn for this comment section now.

Joe Biden eulogized Strom Thurmond, sexually assaulted his staffer, voted for the Iraq war, and has been a loyal friend of credit card companies. He’s better than Trump, slightly.

Maybe ask him if he even voted for Bernie in the primaries, before you start smearing him with over generalized stereotypes.

The idea that things like M4A and a Green New Deal are fucking “pie-in-the-sky” rather than necessary, practical, and broadly popular is beyond stupid and insulting. If you have “no hesitation at all” voting for a rapey, lying, racist warmonger who’s been on the wrong side of every issue imaginable, I’m not sure what…

I mean, Biden’s entire pitch, the entire reason for his candidacy, was his electability. If some snarky blogs and tweets from people who just wish he would be better are enough to jeopardize his chances, it sure seems like the entire basis for his candidacy was a lie.

It’s really true what they say about centrist Democrats preferring fascism to socialism.

It seems extraordinary to me that you could report on this and not once mention that she is a woman of colour. I’m gobsmacked.
