This is especially effective as a troll job because of who wrote it.

“and what people want to know, is Ross a good kisser? So that sort of sums it up. And he is, by the way.”

Here’s my problem with this kind of bullshit.

I don’t know about you, but I’m generally so, so tired by the time I’m done with my morning Kinja rounds. Hell, I’ve only been hitting AVClub, Deadspin, Gizmodo, and The Takeout lately to try to improve my mood and I’m still exhausted.

So... this article should really be skewering US Soccer, who clearly reached out to all these professional teams with templates asking them to tweet it out to their followers.

Right? There’s no way in hell the other teams did this of their own accord. The social team for the USWNT thought it was a good idea and convinced all these people that this was a way to support the NT while also keeping it “brand friendly”

It seems blindingly self-evident that that’s what happened.

It’s like we’re looking at a burning building and instead of trying to put the fire out, we’re debating whether the building is “ablaze” or “in flames”.

That’s what I don’t understand about this. It’s like comparing a convicted serial killer to Satan, and suddenly having a massive rush of people climbing over each other to shout “HE’S NOT REALLY SATAN!”

Does it really fucking matter if they are called ‘concentration camps’ or ‘detention centers’ or ‘funball zones’ when

You know an easy way to end this argument about what level of terribleness this current iteration of concentration camp is, is to, oh I dunno, not have them at all?

So what is the problem with this article? It’s predominantly focused on the way the Ball brothers are changing the once established rules of basketball fundamentals.

Albert deleted this but I remember. Let’s save this to remember when a dude tried to delete something because he got butthurt.

I generally enjoy his writing but man this is a childish response right?  Who gets that defensive over something so pointless?  I’m hoping he’s drunk, no other excuse to act so bitchy and also to pretend he wasn’t obviously wrong

Your article was poorly considered and argued at the time, and ultimately is one of the worst things you’ve written for this site. At some point, you ought to own it.

Deadspin's default mode is hater. What else can you expect?

It’s amazing how consistently Deadspin has been wrong about the NBA. Just off the top of my head, they criticized the Porzingis draft pick, called the Sixers rebuild a failure, ripped the Toronto Raptors multiple times on their way to a championship, and wanted the Pelicans to accept far less for Anthony Davis than

Same boat. Fan since day one and I for years tried to ignore all the narratives around us being chokers that couldn’t close. I think part of the reason this feels so surreal is that it undos a (well-earned) reputation that felt so ingrained into our DNA that it would never go away.

As a Raptors fan since the earliest days, let me say: this is weird. I don’t know what to make of this. We didn’t fail and that’s unnerving.

Yes, that’s one form of native advertising, so is the State Farm’s integration into the Draft Guide.
