Apparently Pokemon enjoy competition and actively seek out battles or a strong trainer. They do make a point to separate regular battles from stuff like war and have battles seem more like something in which the Pokemon are happily parttaking in whereas war is just death.

Well, fighting aside, it’s not so different from what we did with cats and dogs.

Will this come with 2 controllers? Or will siblings be forever forced to wait until the older one dies.

People complain Nintendo doesn’t get with the times.

I wonder if Attack on Titan is to blame. And what about the motive of the stairs? Maybe they were just tired of being walked all over.

They used to have a good port of Mega Man 2 on iPhone... WHAT HAPPENED???

Women are more emotional than men, it’s science. I know your emotions make you feel bad about that... but that’s also science!

I know you’re being facetious but this is a good leftist takedown of Mario.

Addendum: Gender issues aside, Peach has her own platformer, and Luigi’s games are about being scared, or “oh god, where is Mario. My life is collapsing.”... Actually they’re all about both of those things.

Adults can do whatever they want. And they can enjoy some stereotypes in a well-crafted industrial Mario product. But don’t feed this shit to my kids.

It’s a conspiracy! Mario is really the one kidnapping people. Which is more out of place? A human Plumber named Mario Mario with his human brother Luigi Mario in a world where everyone is either a “toadstool” of some sort, or a Bowser kid, or an undead skeliton, or a animal.....

They don’t on their own.

Y’know what - he has a point. I’m not letting my son play this horrible game either because it’s teaching him that saving members of the landed aristocracy is more important than bettering his society in more productive ways (like unclogging drains and toilets). It’s a conditioning tool of the bourgeois!

Holy crap, really? If that’s true, this whole article is a load of bull.

*face palm*

They do when their parents tell them to feel that way.

It felt like she would find it alienating and insulting.

Sounds like a fun guy to have at a party. Aren’t these types of tropes what drive most stories? A princess gets kidnapped, there is a nuke in some city, there is a spy infiltrating something secret, someone was murdered, something was stolen.

You can play as both Peach and Toadette. When you’re Peach, she ends up saving a male Toad at the end instead.

This seems like a such a weird thing to get upset about. Browser has been kidnapping Peach since the 80s.
