I see where you’re coming from, but nah. Part of representation is normalizing the casting of non-white/cis/hetero actors. There certainly aren’t enough stories that speak to disenfranchised groups but there’s also nothing wrong with telling a story that includes these groups without necessarily giving them specific

Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, Jamie Bell, and Toby Kebbell have all continued getting consistent work since Fant4stic. To your point, though, I think Kate Mara’s career took the hardest hit out of all of the main actors.

Having played only a tiny bit of Amazon’s games, and all early builds for... reasons, it seems to me like they’re trying to go too big too fast.

From what I’ve seen and my experience, Breakaway was their most fun idea and it got scrapped.

You don’t just come out and make Breath of the Wild, you have to make Donkey Kong

We tried nothing and we’re all out of ideas...

That’s what I keep thinking. A lot of people have been resigning from their positions and organizations, which means they no longer have any influence or sway. Symbolically, possibly powerful. Practically, can potentially have the opposite effect.

The comic didn’t work because of that, and also because Frank saying “don’t be like me” just makes them want to be like him even more. Modern conservatives have really started to subscribe to the concept of the nobility of the sin-eater.

You can see one of the cops go to help him and immediately get yanked back by another officer. I cannot even.

Seeing the Punisher skull anywhere outside of a comic or movie makes my skin crawl, but ironically Garth Ennis’s run on the character (especially the MAX stuff) is one of the best comics I’ve ever read. Taken as a whole it’s an incredibly deep character study examining first how a senseless war can shape a man’s

The comic didn’t work because 99.99% of the dipshit cops using the Punisher logo have never read a Punisher comic in their lives.

This right here. That first zone is big and packed with stuff to see and do. Ignore that impulse, you can come back later. See some more of the world and open the game up. It’ll stave off burnout

I’ve never understood the grind complaints with regards to Inquisition.  It’s only as grindy as a player wants to make it.  That being said, I’m down for the grind so I loved it.

I own the base game, but the Origin store is (or was when I went looking) a nightmare to navigate, so I never bothered getting any of the DLC.

I’m super tempted to buy GOTY edition of Inquisition.

This is how THQ-Nordic likes to name their remasters. Like Darksiders 2 Deathinitive Edition or Red Faction Guerilla Re-Marstered. I appreciate the dumbness.

I’m sure the community will take this in stride. /s

This is actually fascinating! A 5% increase in encounter rate would be realistically impossible to “prove” by using standard statistical protocols, simply because it would be effectively impossible to get enough unbiased data and because Pokémon games often have (or could reasonably be believed to have, if one doesn’t

In the 80s?

The one thing that’s been consistent about Directs is that they’re consistenty inconsistent.

Gaming is pretty lucky to have Keighley even if some deride him as a “corporate shill”, as he’s a man who actually loves games and just wants to present them in a fun way for fans even if sometimes his closeness to the industry leads to bad photo ops.

It’ll just be a portrait video of the actress walking in the street admitting they couldn’t come up with anything more depressing.
