Lobsters seem to be the preferred animal to torture for their meat. Sure they're killed instantly, but man, what a way to die. I think Magneto did that to Wolverine in one of the X-Men comics.

@Osagasu: Sure they can. However, as someone else already mentioned, you can probably adapt this technology to any metal... preferably metal that's more plentiful and less valuable than gold. Gold's an important component in technology, you know, and I'd much rather have it in a versatile device like a cell phone

But I want my gold jewelry to be... gold. People have been pretty happy with that color for centuries. Why make your hugely expensive gold ring look like some Cracker Jack trinket?

@Sugarbeetle: My god. People were dumb enough to vote for a Quayle? AGAIN?!

My boloney has a first name, it's S-T-E-V-E!

Aw man, Red Dwarf? I loved that show! Sixty bucks is still a bit pricey, though.

@Zaixionito: In the latter case, the future is now.

@GMorgan: Fisto? It ain't made from chocolate!

Is Beyond Seven... oh god. Thanks for making me feel woefully inadequate, Gizmodo.

@Smiley Massacre: Well, they do have a Burger King pillowcase with the breakfast menu printed on it. And they expect YOU to pay four dollars for it! The only thing worse than suffering through advertising is having to pay money for the privilege.

They'd pretty much have to have a networked mind if they hoped to keep their movements coordinated. Otherwise, it would totally be a push-me pull-you situation.

Was Skate It any good? I think I remember a review on Giz stating that it wasn't anything special.

@Necroscope: Oh, I'm disappointed with Pelosi, but only because she has no political savvy or backbone whatsoever. She wouldn't stand up to Bush and his pointless Iraq War and won't defend any of her accomplishments as speaker. Now if Hilary had that job, she'd get shit done, and fight back when Republicans tried to

@the9thdude: The only smart thing that's been said in this thread, no doubt.

@cool8man: And replace them with crazy corporate lackeys! Four more years of big business puppets with political agendas to the right of Ghengis Khan, yay!

@cool8man: Oh yes, because clearly nobody voted for the progressives. You people only respect the will of the people when it reflects your own. Why don't you just admit that instead of pretending to be pro-democracy?

Free speech, huh? Yeah, let's see how much "free speech" you tea turkeys have when the three or four broadband ISPs clamp down on use. Stupid fools marching to the beat of their corporate pied pipers... they're going to be surprised when the reward for doing AT&T's dirty work is more throttling and less online

@QuatlooMillionaire: If this is their problem, the tech leaders can bite off a piece of my dick. You SHOULD be punished for sending our jobs overseas. If you don't like it, tough... I'm not a fan of being unemployed, either.

Poor Obama is starting to look like Skeletor. Then again, that's how most Republicans saw him already.

@Seventhexile Speaks: I've not had any luck with PSX4All... but then again, I have a first gen iPod Touch and that may be too slow for the app. What are you using?
