Wait, that's for the whole console. Never mind!

@Brian Crecente: Heh, I see what you did there. I'm just an enthusiast, so turning the tables on me isn't going to work very well. However, on the occasions that I've done freelance work (mostly writing promotional copy for GameTap), I do the research. It's tedious and time-consuming, but if you're getting paid

@Dr Sleep: I'm well aware of Gerstmann-gate. It's the reason Giant Bomb exists. I'm just not fond of blogs with a shaky ethical history pointing fingers, especially at a magazine that's been around longer than any two blogs put together. When I ask for personal responsibility, I get more finger pointing as a

@Brian Crecente: You can't give away trips you've already taken, or time-sensitive material like pre-release copies of games.

Kotaku, calling Famitsu's journalistic credibility into question. Thanks, I needed the laugh!

"According to Tokyo's Office for Youth Affairs and Public Safety, the bill will not impact material that 'merely' depicts unclothed children and specially pointed to a scene in children's manga/anime Doraemon that shows young girl character Shizuka-chan bathing."

What a safe and utterly pointless chest-thumping exercise on the part of the Argentine government.

@PatrickSwayze2: I DID! Obama's been a disappointment in some ways and promising in others, but overall I'd much rather have him in charge than the old coot and his nutty bimbo running mate.

Lame. It's number one on my list of reasons that I quit making YouTube videos. Make even the slightest mention of pop culture and your video gets pulled or muted. People can't even review some GAMES because companies like Rockstar (ooh, big surprise there) and Electronic Arts will have the clips pulled. These days

@Demonbird: Wouldn't have helped for the counterfeit bills. That was a pretty slick trick... not something I would do personally, but it's an admittedly clever way to fleece someone without the hassle of picking teeth out of your fist.

Craigslist transactions just seem like a bad idea to me. Then again, I'm a recluse, so that probably colors my view. Just stay on your side of the country and send me your shit through eBay or Amazon. I'll send you some PayPal funds, and we'll both be happy.

Bloody Kardies.

I thought the old artwork had a lot more character. Hand-drawn art will always have the upper hand over rendering in that regard, although Pixar does put a lot of personality in their characters.

@Bricked: It makes me wistful for the first Great Depression. These days, the execs jump headfirst into taxpayer-funded bailout money.

This guy looks like Jim Belushi circa 1986.

@Kowl Slaw: Some of these asinine media giants who are suing everyone on Earth over "free music" are offering it for free themselves online, through sites like YouTube. It's completely ridiculous. If you're going to be despotic billionaire tyrants, at least be consistent about it!

Video games can never be art... to Roger Ebert. It's the disease of his generation. They can't see them as anything but toys; mindless frivolity for children. Well, those children have grown up, and the elder generation has grown old. When they are lost to time and we have grown old ourselves, the world will have

I'm always up for free music. Plus it's got to be better than the porno music they used in Final Fight CD.

I followed the steps and still couldn't get this to work. I've been able to run both GX and Coverfloader but if a game isn't in the disc drive when I attempt to play it the system hangs. I'm not sure why... I'm pretty sure my system is rocking an older version of the system firmware.
