Seriously. The Fit is huge inside for the size of the car. Huge people fit in the Fit. Pinball machines fit in the Fit for chrissakes.
As statement of “I don’t fit in the Fit” is indeed questionable.

Thank god that’s nowhere close to me.
I bet you’re right. I would suspect that the GMT800 2500’s have become very desirable as budget tow rigs.
Or people who tow anything really it seems.
No kidding. I thought it was just a massive fail kind of item. The more you know!
Ooooo... the 8.1 Avvies were very few and far between. Way cool!
For real. I had an 03 6.0 and gave it up for this 02 8.1. It was a BEAST.
Sure, you just lose all that juicy space behind the 3rd row!
I had a pair of GMT800 2500 ‘Burbs over the years and lord were they boringly fantastic. Loved those trucks.
A lot of vehicles don’t tow well near the rated limit on the highway. It can become a very uncomfortable and/or sketchy, and therefore unsafe experience. Ideally, if you’re going to tow something regularly, you want the amount you’re going to tow to come in well under the rated limit of the vehicle you’re using.
To put…
FLX. It’s pretty up there.
6k with a trailer so it ain’t a 17' center console, that’s for sure. lol
Sure, a Navi is great too for a 6k load.. although the older ones all seem to have sacked out air suspensions out back in my area.
May as well include the big daddy Excursion as well, although these have really maintained value, especially the diesels.
Agreed, used Burbs and Expd’s are interchangeable here.
Auto Start/Stop sounds way worse than it is as it kind of disappears after you use it for a bit on a manual. The car is only going to shut down in N with the clutch out at a complete stop, and fires right back up as soon as you put the clutch in, so when actually in use, it’s NBD.
This will be a fun one in the comments, it’s going to weed out the boaters from the non boaters rather quickly.
Boat owner here. You want to tow in relative comfort and safety, bring all the people and their stuff? Do yourself a giant (intended) favor and spring for a Suburban/Yukon XL. Doesn’t have to be new, used is often better for this role as it’s gonna be an outdoor vehicle anyway. I particularly like GMT800 2500 models.…
Weirdly, yes.
So here’s the thing:
Every drive in a Wrangler is special specifically because it’s not remotely the best, or even all that good on road. But it is fun and different and despite its shortcomings, does get the DD job done reasonably well. It’s also wildly authentic. The lowliest Sport is still an outrageously competent…
A Grom begs for low speed antics... although so does a modified 2t Yamaha Zuma. With the zuma you get the added benefit of a 10k weed eater soundtrack.
I take a different approach. I got my teen a car, but I refuse to pay ancillary costs. Insurance, fuel, repairs and maintenance... they’re all on her, just like in the real world.
