A Grom begs for low speed antics... although so does a modified 2t Yamaha Zuma. With the zuma you get the added benefit of a 10k weed eater soundtrack.

I take a different approach. I got my teen a car, but I refuse to pay ancillary costs. Insurance, fuel, repairs and maintenance... they’re all on her, just like in the real world.

I dunno man. I’ve got some nasty speed humps on my street, and CV’s and GrandMas get absolutely SENT over them on the regular by the local high school kids and they live to do it day after day, and they can barely drive at all.
Enjoying the pin content for sure.
I mean, if you wanna dig deep, yeah!
Haha, you get it.
Not junk at all. If I were walking around and saw one for sale, I’d buy it without a second thought. Cool stuff!

But then what Saab will you drive?
Yeah, but did it overheat?
Even better.
A new decree?
Agree with all of your points. I’m just projecting on the C900, mostly because I miss mine.
I’m also happy to see him create blatantly erroneous or fantastical logic in an effort to justify his answer of a Jeep for all situations.
I think either way, we win.
Now that’s a find worth travelling for!
Saabnet is the best.
I’m happy/sad that it’s not local to me.
Makes this whole thing even easier!
Besides, once you have a taste for Saab levels of quirk, it’s not an easy task to replicate that elsewhere in automotivedom and still have that car remain a viable daily.
I am all for the staying with the Saabs.
Also, I’m all about Tracy recommending a specific Jeep for every question. Let the man play to his strengths.
... but I’m more about the Saabs here. 10k will allow you to find a decent classic 900, and that’s the jam.
We’ve just become numb to it... kind of like #45's rantings. It’s just a thing that’s, well... it’s just there.
As a pro-small bike rider, I fully support this post.
I miss my Passport too!
