Far less than 200k+ sales a year will keep the Wrangler solid axle ad infinitum. There are a solid number of consumers who want honest off road capable SUVs, and the Wrangler and 4runner are both selling rather well because of it.

Agreed. I’m so over the leather seats in most cars now. Very few are decent uncoated full grain, and that’s really the only leather (IMHO) that doesn’t feel artificial. Some top grains are well done too, but I rarely find one. Vanson’s Competition Leather comes to mind for a good top grain. Quality leather requires…

4runners, Wranglers and Tacomas you just buy new. The savings buying used for these 3 in particular is just too minimal to justify.
Of note, all 3 are legit off-road ready, are essentially archaic and sell well. Coincidence?

V4's generally sound excellent and are still found in Motorcycles: RIP Motus, and Honda, Ducati and Aprilia immediately come to mind.
