While I know that you are correct as GX and Prado are badge engineered twins, the 4r is based off the platform and honestly close enough that it’s not really worth arguing.

The Cruiser they used looks to be the Prado... which essentially is a 4runner (Or Lexus GX, which is closer actually), or at least close enough that they could substitute for each other.

4Runners are in the same boat as Tacomas, and they’ve both been this way for years. FJ Cruisers are even worse. Land Cruisers? Same deal. Want a used body on frame Toyota? Pay through the nose.
