I was 25, and just starting to thin out on top... noticed it in the mirror and promptly shaved it all off and haven’t looked back. 12 years later and it’s still the best personal styling decision I ever made.

Oh, I wasn’t hating on the PW. The truck is awesome and it has its place for sure, I was just making the point that the Taco and the 4R are also each viable in their own way when off road.
The taco and 4runner laugh as they skip down trails that the Power Wagon is way too large for and can only gaze longingly at.

Dunno, but I recently spent a week in Barcelona and I noticed that overall the visitor experience was extremely affordable as compared to my home in FL over the short term anyway.

The hot ticket where I live in FL is to acquire an old used sailboat (which is easy to do, marinas are always looking to get rid of abandoned ones), moor it out in the bay and take a dinghy into shore for whatever you’ve gotta do. Way cheaper than renting around here for sure.

QX80 might be based on something that can go off road, true... but no, it’s not an offroad vehicle at all. I’d have stuck the Subaru Forester or something on there instead... it’ll go places that a QX80 never would be able to despite also lacking locking diffs and low range. Just my .02.
