Legitimate question: who in the world are these Devolver conferences for? People who miss the Adult Swim-era of skits? Every single one just jams in: excessive violence, stock audience footage, tons of cursing to farm over reactors, and segments calling the consumer stupid. Makes the other conferences just shine I

A. You could call the actual Village another character in the game, and we did that because we would like players to understand that.

This looks cool and fun but no VR game looks like it’s worth dropping several hundred dollars on gear that’s going to be made obsolete within just a few years when the next gen of games comes out.

That’s a lot of words to say “we thought the logo looked cooler this way.”

The Last of Us 2 should be a post-apocalyptic Pony Express meets Oregon Trail adventure game. You and your trusty steed navigate ruined infrastructure while dodging the occasional fungus zombie, combat being optional in this fantasy of mine, all to deliver some small innocuous package from one bombed-out part of the

If only these men in power were consistently held accountable for their actions. HR Departments will go out of their way to protect "valuable" men in power. It's unfortunate, to put it mildly, but behavior won't change until society starts communicating that behavior won't be tolerated.

Something I realize that whenever I read something like this about a creator, I start reflecting on what they have done before and if these revelations cast some of those stories/decisions in a more questionable light.

How bittersweet. Antebellum plantation nanny imagery aside, it’s one of the few packages of food in the market that has a picture of someone who looks like me.

“People are overreacting to a few isolated incidents where a black person unfortunately died. All lives should matter.”

“I think the only effect will be to slightly increase their collector value.”

Only one of these cards has seen a printing in the past decade, none of them are significant in competitive or casual play. Good move getting rid of them, but given their general insignificance I think the only effect will be to slightly increase their collector value.

ETA: holy shit, that’s a hell of a twofer for

I’m not putting it all on Gamefreak. Even if I buy the notion that Nintendo - as the major player in the Pokemon Co - can’t pressure Gamefreak into doing something, Nintendo still runs the eshop that is enabling (more likelyforcing”) backwards crap like this.

Unfortunately that doesn’t work for Pokemon or Animal Crossing. I did that for other games but those are a no-go.

Nintendo has so many issues with game purchasing because of their system restrictions. The problem I have is my kids both started their games on what was our “kids’ Switch” Once Covid started and we had so much time at home, I bought another so they each have their own Switch. I travel some so I have my Switch as the

When does the goodwill with Nintendo run dry? I’ll put comments about the game’s quality to the side, and just really ask how long we are going to be ok with this system of forcing users to do the most every generation of a game marketed at kids.

Because Nintendo and especially Game freak are ass-backwards like this.

Why make it this... confusing?

interestingly—for Nintendo’s lawyers if nobody else—

I feel like the hero shooter genre has reached the over-saturated point and the destiny of majority of any newcomers is not gonna be very noteworthy.

I’m bet the team worked hard on it, but there’s no way they aren’t aware of that. So it must be a little demoralizing to work on stuff meant to be monetize trends.

Cage is also accused of a lack of consideration for female colleagues, and of making insistent dirty jokes, smutty remarks in the presence of his wife, and inappropriate remarks about actresses in his games.
