Here’s a statement on this from an expert on the subject:

Oh, another entry for my list of things whose titles use the “____ and other ____” format. People sure love titling things that way.

Maggie Gyllenhaal is so great. It’s too bad she probably won’t win an Emmy, since Emmy voters don’t tend to pay attention to David Simon projects. I guess that’s a benefit though: you get to see what a good performance someone will give even when they know it won’t get them a statue.

Yeah, that was hilarious.

the September death of Grande’s ex, Mac Miller in September

Huh, they lured me into complacency by driving home how reluctant they are to kill main characters, and then oops, there goes Joe.

I found it super disorienting how they followed up a song where people kept singing “Trees!” with a sketch where people kept saying “Treece!” It gave me a glimpse of what SNL might be like if they were clever enough to do that sort of thing on purpose.

It says a lot about our country that George W. Bush and his administration deceived us into supporting a war that killed about a million civilians for basically no reason other than to enrich his friends, and now the majority of people on the more pro-peace side of politics are basically fine with it.

Heidi Gardner is very talented actress who skillfully portrays characters that bore the crap out of me.

I wonder if they’re going to kill off the most likeable character on a show that just demonstrated how reluctant it is to kill off main characters. How I wonder!

Ozzy Osbourne and Geddy Lee are gradually turning into each other.

Of course Frank Frink is alive. Main characters don’t die like everyone else. How boring. Actually, he might be a traveler from another dimension, in which case this world’s Frank Frink really did die. That would be a lot less boring.

Thomas still being alive would explain why John doesn’t show much emotion for his son, particularly after fighting so hard to save him. Then again, maybe he’s like Jimmy McGill when it comes to mourning family members.

musicians “were treated very unfairly,”

I kept seeing that image on here and I had no idea it was Jamie Lee Curtis until recently. I’m so used to her having short hair and being photographed straight on.

For a very different example, there’s Game Of Thrones. In the first episode, in 2011, a young woman is basically sold into marriage to a murderous psychopath who forcefully takes her on their wedding night. Everyone is like, “Yes, okay, now we know that this kind of thing happens on this show.” Then exactly the same

This Year Has 22 Minutes

I assume that’s how everyone outside of the US says it.

I’ve been watching season 2 of Community and I just got to the episode where Pierce is in the hospital. It reminded me a whole lot of The Good Place, with the demonic Pierce coming up with the perfect ways to torture his friends while disguising them as rewards. (It also reminded me of Parks & Recreation because of

I wonder why Simone wasn’t on the cake. Seems like she’s a member of The Brainy Bunch as much as Chidi is.
