That episode was amazing. I can't get over how amazing it was. I had the simultaneous feelings of "OH MY GOD YES THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER" and "OH MY GOD NO THIS IS THE WORST THING EVER!" I don't think I've felt that way before.

I agree that the cop-out was kind of disappointing. It would have worked a lot better

Yay, my question made it, and I got a 4. I guess I'm confused by the scene where Viserys's head gets melted. Daenerys says something like, "He was no dragon. A dragon wouldn't be hurt by fire." It makes it sound like not being hurt by fire is some sort of recessive gene trait or something.

"The world doesn’t need more America right now."

Win Butler is a contest and Will Butler is a promise.

I find it annoying because I'm 34 and I still don't understand that stuff. Stupid kids, knowing things I don't.

When I was a kid, my dream was to help local milk people become regional milk people.

The characters in the three stories have two things in common: they're involved in the drug trade, and they really like the Fourth of July. I'm not feeling particularly patriotic after that reminder of how white cops have been brutalizing black communities for so long.

I'm curious about Nocturama solely because I want to know how it relates to the Nick Cave album. Is someone on fire? Does it take place near the Rock of Gibraltar? Is there a dead man in someone's bed?

Andy Zaltzman is looking well.

Sie nehmen Platz in Bavaria! Ja, in Bavaria, wo die Bäume aus Holz sind!

As always, Willem Dafoe's face is a shithead.

Joke 1: That doesn't look like Johnny Cash.
Joke 2: That doesn't look like Ed Harris.
Joke 3: Idris Elba's agent!

"Face with tears of joy" is the worst emoji.

Alex Jones should sell some gold-painted shovels.

He only claims to be an "alumni" of MIT, but MIT says even that isn't true. He basically took one course there.

All the proceeds go to Doctors Without Borders, so that would be good.

Gordon: I'd really like to get back to this fine Bordeaux.
Albert: What kind is it?
Gordon: 11:05.
[Albert stares at him wearily]
Gordon: Albert, sometimes I really worry about you.

I submitted this question but it didn't make the cut. If Jon and Tyrion can ride dragons, doesn't that mean they're fireproof like Daenerys? Wouldn't they have noticed this by now?

I've found it strange that they apparently only send one message. It seems like things would happen to the ravens all the time so they should send a few copies of the message.
