With that spectacular second half (not to mention the guitar riff in the third break), Clark is really gunning for that Bowie crown.

Good. Stallone has a totally undeserved reputation in pop culture as a meathead. His trademark mumbling comes from having partial facial paralysis - he’s actually really thoughtful and crazy talented. Dude wrote Rocky. That movie is amazing. It’s literally the best Rocky movie (and also one of my Top 10 of all time.)

Yeah, but he’s still leagues better than Evan Rytlewski was. At least Purdom seems like he actually listens to hip hop when he’s not being paid to.

I can’t wait until he ruins Sammy’s wedding.

I don’t know about “Palestinian Chicken” funny — that’s one of the all-time great half-hours of comedy — but this was still damn good, much better than the premiere.

I’m surprised Denn!s Perk!ns never realized that.

musical guest P!nk, who I am informed spells her name that way now.

“Just give me a second. For some reason, they gave me a plastic knife.”

Don’t you know that if someone comes around to your point of view you’re supposed to continue to hold it against them that they at one time believed differently?

No, this is just an easy way for the AVClub to take unneccessary swipes at someone just because they can. This is what they’ve been doing for a while now.

Also we’re mad that he said the drugging and rape of women was sad, which is somehow wrong?

So the tone we’re taking here is, “about time, asshole,” instead of “good on you for reconciling that a man who was once your hero has done things so terrible you can’t enjoy his comedy anymore,” right? Got it.

I was entirely unsurprised that a guy willing to change his name to “Michael Richards” for $1001 would turn out to have something troublesome in his past.

Completely agree with your assessment. I’ve loved seeing some of the “characters” return in various forms throughout the seasons. A show like this doesn’t really need those running threads, but their presence makes it so much better and gives it true heart.

I’m looking forward to Michael and Eleanor being on the same team - the quick look between them when Vicky started singing sold me completely. This episode felt like a lot of set up, but I guess every week can’t end on a ‘what?!’ note.

After the insanely ambitious last episode, it was inevitable that this would be a quieter installment. And it worked - we probably needed something like this - and we finally got to see how Tahani died.

No Total Recall, Predator, Interstellar, The Martian or Event Horizon, but we do get Dune, AI and Buckaroo fucking Banzai?

Dogshit and gobbledygook smothered in pretentious self-righteous social justice hokum peddled by the bourgeois socialists running this rag.

This! I can’t imagine they’d all get on board for this if they didn’t have some sort of concept that needed a longer treatment.

Yyyeaahhh, Fantano isn’t alt-right.
