There’s definitely a hint of FG there, but more like the early, good episodes, before McFarlane got bored and let the whole thing become a sad, repetitive shell of its former self. It takes a couple of episodes to set itself up, but I think Big Mouth actually squeezes a fair amount of wit and heart in between all the

Did you watch any of it? I’ve seen a few episodes and it’s honestly surprisingly sweet.

You got me beat by 11 years, and every word you say is still fucking accurate. He was a great artist, and by all standards a great guy as well. This is definitely heartbreaking.

You also need to add that when the shooter is a white, male that he always without fail have “mental health” issues. And the NRA followers will argue that the issue is there and not with the fact that he had easy access to a semi-automatic weapon.

That’s right. I remember watching the coverage of Port Arthur live that Sunday night and that palpable shock/horror/disgust at what happened and how Martin Bryant could have been able to accrue the cache of guns he had to do the unspeakably awful acts he did.

On Saturday morning a crazy young man in combat fatigues was trying to run people down in Melbourne, then exited the car and attacked police. They tazed him and arrested him. No one was injured. Imagine if that guy had easy access to automatic weapons?

Fucking America and its guns. This shit has to stop.

“There aren’t many sounds more comforting to me than the HBO logo followed by the Curb theme.”

Aw shit the season was so close to getting straight As.

Every so often comments like this pop up and it’s clear they’re from people who don’t watch SNL regularly and have no idea what it’s like from week to week and what makes a good episode or a bad one.

The sketch where Aidy Bryant was a talking chicken in an old movie shouldn’t have worked, and it didn’t.

I mean, there’s also the fact that it’s funny.

“I freefall twenty feet down, I land ass-up on a pool raft with my pink pocket and my stink rocket on full display in the middle of Danny Randall’s pool party.”

I don’t have a problem with them covering Ducktales. I’m 34 and Ducktales nostalgia is right in my wheelhouse. The cast is stacked and people say it’s good - I’ll probably try it at some point. I make no apologies for that.

Is there a good reason this site is keeping on on DUCKTALES, a show for small children, and ignoring Nathan for You reviews???

Dig this: Rachel Dratch and Tina Fey’s last night at Second City. Craptastic quality (recorded on VHS?), but high-LARIOUS!

Argo was fun

SNL movies are to be consumed on Saturday and Sunday afternoons when hung over. Or to be half-watched in the background to kill time during multi-day holiday gatherings of extended family. If the reviewer didn’t watch under these conditions their grade is worthless.

My favorite thing about this is the grudge against Bulworth. I mean if you want to mock critics there are so many more recent examples of critics being idiots. I mean we have recent best picture winners like The Artist, Argo, The King’s Speech, and The Hurt Locker. Those are all pretty silly. I mean Avatar was

The House is a typical SNL casted funny film. It’s not amazing, or groundbreaking, but an easy watch because of the actors. Falls in line with:
