You’re so much smarter than the people who like those.

I keep seeing people on here saying a movie about a bad movie must be bad, like Ed Wood isn’t a great movie.

Considering I find the RLM guys kind of smug, low key misogynists, only moderately funny and not very aware of film theory/analysis, I don’t know how much weight their recommendation holds with me.

Yea I wish they were the first replacements before Ben Lyons and Ben Mankiewicz fucked everything up.

Well he seems to have finally gotten something right with The Disaster Artist, a movie I haven’t seen yet but seems to be pretty universally liked/loved everywhere but here.

I thought it was ok, but it’s the exact type of movie I’m sure got eviscerated in the comments here. (After Kinja and the quality of writing going down, one of the things that bums me out about modern A.V. Club is a lot of the good commenters left, leaving behind mostly the old grumpy ones who get off on disliking

A Brockhampton song has an openly gay rapper rap the lyrics “Heath Ledger with some dreads / I just gave my n#!@a head” so that alone puts them in my list of favorite rappers today.

And then in turn people can act pretentious like what a band calls themself really matters.

Yea, I agree GOT maybe wasn’t in top form this year, but not finding that scene (or any scene from this season) good enough for this list or better than a scene from Friends From College or The Defenders reeks of wanting to stand out by leaving out the most popular show on T.V.

Yep, because people can only be famous for making movies.

She’s part of the Ocean’s reboot and A Wrinkle In Time next year (which just got her on the cover of TIME), and just ended a show she was the showrunner and star of for six years...unless they bumped up her role considerably I don’t see her going back to play Kelly.

Sorry Matt Lauer, but you’ve just got to learn that Hollywood doesn’t take too kindly to sexual predators anymore.

I’m wondering who they would have from the original show. It ended with Dwight as manager, but the NBC thing to do would be hire some celebrity to play the boss like Matthew Broderick doing a cheap Steve Carell impression, and I don’t think Rainn Wilson would come back if he couldn’t be the star. Obviously Carell,

In a weekend where N.E.R.D. and Brockhampton just dropped two late year contenders for AOTY, this album seems especially lame and out-of-date in comparison. With all the great current producers and rappers Eminem could have collabed with, the fact that every beat on here is either some milquetoast Alex Da Kid/Skylar

“better beats” Personally I thought this album had the worst production of his career. He needs to stop working with Skylar Grey, Alex Da Kid and Rick Rubin ASAP.

I’ll give Hart credit that he’s at least much funnier than Cook.

I’ve played Brockhampton’s new song “Boogie” a shocking amount of times since it was released last night.

Internet hot take is bad.

“Maybe I should be a food critic. ‘These muffins taste bad.’ Or an art critic. ‘That painting is bad.’”
