I didn’t until now. So I’m confused with the “here come the Stans comment”??? Anyways, it’s a good list...mostly. I can’t peel my eyes from Drake’s inclusion though. Take Care is a good album and Drake gets a lot of flack unjustifiably imo, but Take Care is not one of the top 25 hip hop albums of all time.

You know after a whole day thinking about this, I’m still in shock. Like....c’mon. I mean....just as an example, every thing Big L ever said is a better verse than Nicki Minaj’s Monster verse. Lil Wayne has 20 better verses from his mixtapes (don’t even bring up his main albums, which are mostly garbage) the Prefix

Now playing

The best verse in hip hop is probably something you’ve never heard since you’re just listings songs that got play on the radio. There’s a big amount of subjectivity that goes into it, but not enough to allow for that Monster verse to be considered the best—of ALL TIME mind you, not the last 15 years, as you put it. As

Just circling back to this: I could probably find 20 better verses on my phone right now. Might take me 7 minutes. Hell, I could probably pull 20 better verses from the old Squad Up mixtapes SQ1-SQ6.

You do not deserve a fight. You deserve to live with this white-hot, face-melting, patently wrong take for all of eternity. You see this take is undergoing nuclear fusion at its core and it should keep you from death for many billions of year—more than enough time to realize how wrong you are and regret ever creating

One of the best verses......of all time? Is that what you’re saying?

It’s a criminal case, not a civil one.

Let’s just agree to disagree and move on. I wish this was handled better. The way it was makes it really hard for me to root for KU. If that’s not how you feel, that’s fine. As a lawyer in Lawrence, I am well aware that Mr. Chahine was acting diligently toward his client and that these types of things are not uncommon

Well it’s being assumed that it was the smallest amount possible as he’s been charged with the least of criminal damage to property statutes so your point is a red herring. Sure there WAS a question about whether it was more than 1000 dollars worth and therefore a felony, but then he was charged with a misdemeanor so

Gotcha. To the extent it’s being paid to fix the damage, that’s true.

No, it’s not. It’s being offered to shut down an investigation and make the controversy go away. Money to fix the car, for example, would be money to fix a wrong. Hence, my third point above. Insurance pays for damages, not for someone to stop cooperating with a criminal case or university investigation.

So now Josh Jackson might have not even kicked her vehicle? Is that what you’re saying?

Insurance is not the source of the money being offered. First of all, what insurance coverage would cover damage you do to a car while being a pedestrian? Secondly, insurance policies don’t cover intentional actions of the insured. Third, insurance pays for damages, not money for a person to not cooperate with a

It’s Lebanese. Some of his brothers: Hani, Bassem, Hasem.

Again, what was offered was not restitution. And just because bribes to stop cooperating with criminal cases are the norm does not make it not a bribe. If this were a settlement of a a civil matter or if all that was offered was restitution, you might have a point.

As an alumnus, I am embarrassed.

Money to fix the car is restitution. Money to not press charges and not cooperate with the University investigation is not.

And now, a good’s dog rendition of “After the Tree.”

Right or wrong, I like the way you think.
