At common law, you generally have a duty to retreat before using deadly force. This is simplifying it quite a bit, but covers the basics.

I believe just about every state in the US follows some form of the castle doctrine. There was a precursor in English common law that came to the states. Most now have statutes that specifically deal with it and have modified the rule, but I believe every state has it in some form. Most do not include vehicles though.
No. Hillary Clinton lost because she is Hillary Clinton. She was a terrible candidate from the get go and the only thing that gave her half a chance was that Trump was so bad. Those people that voted for Trump made up their mind over a year ago. There was no reason or logic that was going to sway them. There was no…
Nope. Read farther. Never said TX is the only one in the US, just the only one of the states that this particular highway travels through. And even if this was in Texas, this is not a castle doctrine situation.
Yes, that is 100% correct.
Well, this isn’t Utah. It’s on US 82, which goes through NM,TX, AR, MS, AL, and GA. It looks like TX is the only one that extends the doctrine to a vehicle and even then it doesn’t apply here.
Probably only applies to a home, not a vehicle. Most states are like that.

Nah. Virtually impossible to trade him THIS season. Next season is doable. Cut seems more likely though unless a team thinks it’s worth taking on the contract to avoid losing out on him on the market.
Maybe. If the Jets/Texans/Broncos are desperate enough to keep him off the market. If he isn’t traded, they will release him in the off season. They save about 5 millions in cap space by doing it before June 1. More if they wait until after.
The skid mark
The Buffer screw up was especially weird. The Commission interrupted his first announcement and he walked out of the octagon and did a real quick lap while visibly frustrated with the commission. Announcers said the Commission forced him to double check the scorecard or some shit. He didn’t like that. Did a 4 second…
Agreed. He’s awesome. Madison Square Garden loved him too.
Yeah. I hear you. Give people some time to grieve. Hopefully they will see the light when their head isn’t clouded with so much anger/sadness over Tuesday.
So not ludicrous. Understood.
Give it some time. It’s November 11. Maybe some of these hot heads will cool in a few months or a year. You’re exactly right. It’s not surprising that not many will listen or accept what you’re saying when the wound from Tuesday is this fresh. It’s easier to call them racist and it feels good.
