My experience is that whales in all games with micro-transactions and multiplayer are nearly all huge flaming assholes. I’m not sure if it’s that those types of games attract that type of person or not, but that’s been the reality in every game of that type I’ve played.

It’s clear that they’re using it as a way to do nothing at all, but pretend they’re doing something. Since it’s under NDA, no one can prove it, either.

Holy shit, Gita quit too?  I don’t blame her, it’s obvious Spanfeller is happy destroying what he bought, because he thinks he knows how to make money and refuses to listen to anyone who knows better.  Or to notice the sinking numbers.  Maybe they’ll sink so much more when Defector launches that it pisses him off and

No, just some. I’m disabled and can’t work, so I spend the majority of my days at home alone. If I didn’t have the internet to read news, watch videos, and so on I’d go insane or my depression would get so bad I’d kill myself. (Not joking around there, it’s pretty damn severe as-is and I don’t want it to get worse.

Back when I got my chance to go for cheap (staying with a friend I’d made online and never met in person yet) I knew I better take it in case I never got another chance. I’m so glad I did, especially since my life and health started falling apart the next year. I’ll never get to go again, but at least I got to go once

Nope, still no shopping cart.

I recently switched to reusable bags (but then had to go back thanks to the pandemic) and all the bags I have say they’re made out of recycled plastic. Charging for the disposable plastic bags encourages people to switch to reusable bags, but most of them are made out of plastic as well. So the goal really is to make

Yeah, plus it doesn’t seem like the kind of thing that would warrant a full-blown suspension, but only a temporary lock-down.  Most likely a temporary one until the offending tweet is removed.

Sort of, but it’s referring specifically to Japanese anime fans deliberately bypassing the overpriced domestic releases by importing the US release.

If it’s the one I read about in the past I’ve seen the clip. The cat got in her way so she picked it up and tossed it over her shoulder. The cat didn’t yelp or make any other sound, and they jump from higher heights to the floor all the time without injury. It’s unlikely it was hurt in any way, even if it was a stupid

And who makes the character do those things? He’s not acting in a movie, TV show or theater performance where someone else writes the character, he does it all. He’s never once apologized for having his character act that way, only apologized that his character did something offensive. He’s never taken responsibility

Saw someone else comment that he admitted in another interview he’s an ex-convict.  That’s probably why he only had a bow & arrow.

At least it wasn’t the damn dodging lightning bolts mini-game. I had to give up on that one.

Everyone should just chill out and let people play games the way they enjoy them, even if that’s drastically different than how you play them. For example I really enjoy Dungeons II and Dungeons III, but I don’t play them the way most people do. I spend my time building out my dungeon, often waiting until I’ve dug out

I agree with you except I think Alex Jones has started believing his shtick. Last week he openly talked about eating his neighbors if COVID-19 caused food supplies to be interrupted. That’s over the top even by his own standards.

You could have fun and change it to Forever Pending Disapproval.

It’s a very creative solution to the problem.  If it wasn’t an iOS only thing I’d take part.

Even in government jobs where you have a security clearance doing porn on the side isn’t enough to cause you to not get a clearance. As long as you’re upfront about it and tell the FBI you do it, it’s not a big deal, because then it’s not blackmail material.

If she actually sued them that wouldn’t hold up in court because they didn’t fire the guy who was doing the same thing.  If they hadn’t done that, they might have succeeded with that argument.

I doubt it’d do any good, but I’m damn tempted to contact Honda corporate with a link to this and say something like, “Hey, since your dealerships obviously don’t respect women, I won’t be considering your cars in the future, even though I’ve owned some in the past and they were reliable. I simply can’t support
