The article notes they were shutdown on September 7th by the New Jersey Department of Health. They were allowed to reopen later after hiring and training new staff, etc. They’re probably fine right now, because they’re going to be on their toes as the state’s keeping a closer eye on them for a while. If I lived in the

Helping people can be quite rewarding all on its own as well. Back when I played in a text-based MUD during college, I spent a lot of time doing that. I was max level on three different characters (all different classes) and had all the best equipment already. I had a lot of fun killing monsters to get better EQ drops

Now I’m wanting a (probably animated) series following BB-8's guerrilla missions in full camo, complete with amusing and adorable Everything’s Gone Wrong moments in each episode. R2-D2 can show up to save the day occasionally as a recurring character. Hell beep parental advice to the younger droid.

You seem to have missed part of the article:

I backed one up with a grand total of 15 posts and it took about 36 hours. 2+ hours per picture screams “We’re totally incompetent idiots.” All their good IT people quit apparently.

I think Kotaku’s being biased in regards to Epic’s store as well, but that quote basically says exactly that. The only way to reduce fragmentation is to get rid of all the competition, and Discord’s drastically lowered the amount of profit they’ll earn to try to kill off that competition. (Its notable that Discord dro

Not a good comparison at all, since some channels you want might not be available from your cable provider, and some cost extra to have (HBO, Showtime, etc.) A better comparison is to Netflix before all the fragmentation started. You could find nearly everything you wanted to watch on Netflix at one point in time.

Is it bad that now I kind of want to see Snoke give that powerpoint presentation? Not in the movie, but as a bonus feature, and played for laughs would be awesome.

I essentially can’t play first person games, and it’s gotten worse over time. At one point I managed to complete about half of Portal, now I can’t get out of the first room before I have to quit. I used to be able to play 3rd person over-the-shoulder games, like Grand Theft Auto III, completing all the story missions

Star Trek has always been a bit hand-wavy about how universal translators work, but we’ve seen them work with races that Starfleet hasn’t met before in the past. For example, the TNG episode Pen Pals, where Data responds to a radio signal from a little girl from a pre-warp culture. Another good example is the DS9

Origin didn’t even update the free On The House game very often, maybe 3 or 4 games a year at best. I wasn’t terribly upset about it, and honestly didn’t notice the change until today when a client update removed the page entirely. The only reason I left Origin running was to check for a new free game occasionally, so

In order: No. No. and Yes, probably only stuff online though. But she’s probably going to hear about BBQ Becky very soon, since we know someone will figure out her real name and then the Internet will make her life a living hell.

Yep, and that contract comes with students having to follow the universitys rules on things they can and can’t do, as spelled out in the student handbook. Sexual assault isnt allowed, and the disciplinary process is spelled out plainly in every student handbook from every university. Expulsion is listed as a possible

Even more telling is the timing, they expelled him one week before his graduation date, and denied him his degree. The linked article from June has this quote from him:

The end of Watergate and Nixon’s resignation actually happened pretty quickly. Nixon’s public support was high through most of the investigation, but then it all collapsed at one point, and it wasn’t long until he resigned.

I don’t even watch the shows, but I can understand the reactions. People are understandably annoyed and angered by the increasing fragmentation in streaming services. Companies don’t seem to understand that people don’t want to subscribe to fifteen different services to watch all the things they like. They want to

There’s a sewer main only a few feet underneath, so lowering the road is prohibitively expensive.

I’ve not played the game, nor read the plot details, but I didn’t take it as a spoiler about the game’s plot. I was reading the article about tips for playing RDR2 earlier today and it mentioned in there that you get a small boost to your honor from greeting people in towns. So if you want to improve your honor, you

I havent even redeemed all the games I own from bundles. I’m pretty sure I have enough games for multiple lifetimes at this point.

Now playing

I went and found it, and thought I’d share. It really is great.
