I’m going to be generous and assume English isn’t your primary language, otherwise you’d have understood the colloquial use of the phrase “working non-stop” means using all your working hours on that one project. It does not mean the person is literally working 24x7 on the project, just that all of their working hours

The engine thing has nothing to do with the issue, the person you replied to has no clue how copyright actually works. The issue is simply that Poem Studies was using copyrighted Star Wars characters/ships/etc. without permission to do so. They could have been doing the project in the same engine and it would have

You really need to learn more about how copyright really works. Lucasfilm would have no copyright responsibility for allowing the mod to continue in your scenario, as long as they didn’t directly distribute it themselves. Poem Studies would be the one at risk, because they’re the one using the assets without proper

My Dreamcast ended up having a strange history. I bought it back when they dropped the price to $99 and... forgot about it. It remained unopened in the box until about 2003, during a period where I was so poor even buying used games was largely impossible. Remembering I had the Dreamcast and the ease of finding ripped

It’s got on spurs, so just imagine the horse it rides on.

You didn’t read the article? The bank refused to provide him copies of the paperwork showing he’d cosigned and gave his car back without explanation after a bit. If he really had cosigned a loan making his car collateral, there wouldn’t have been any problem showing him the paperwork. And the bank wouldn’t have

You should let some of the lawyers know, because threatening to sue without actually intending to do so is illegal under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Even vague statements that suggest taking legal action are illegal under it.  Your firm might not mind earning a bit of money by suing the assholes.

In my experience, the ones who act that way don’t tip well, or at all anyway and are using that as an excuse to justify their tipping policy to themselves. It’s also a self-fulfilling prophecy, when you treat your server like shit, they know you’re not going to tip and stop busting their ass to help people who act

I’d also be willing to be that most of the people who stopped visiting the place were the ones who didn’t tip, or left really small tips in the first place. Of course those people are going to be unhappy about paying more, they prefer the business model where other people subsidize their meal costs.

There’s a simple solution if they wanted to keep the numbering, just use the last two digits of the year. So this year would be number 18, next year 19, etc.

Nope, that’s not what it’s about. Fandom has placed videos at the top of most pages on the wikis. These videos are auto-play, and while they relate to the property in question, are usually irrelevant to the specific page’s content. They’re annoying, worthless and seriously piss off both the wiki maintainers and fans

99% of the videos I’ve run into on Wikia sites have nothing to do with the page in question. They’re related to the property in question, but are usually irrelevant to the content you’re looking for on that page. I’m not sure what Fandom’s purpose is with the videos, beyond “force auto-playing videos on everyone”.

With this on his background, Wal-mart probably wouldn’t hire him. Hed be considered too big a risk of possibly stealing things. He should be able to find work somewhere though, and itll serve him right if hes stuck in a low-wage job and left with barely enough to live on after he has to shell out a portion each

Yeah, I’m concerned about how the kid could have gotten stuck or injured, but feel no sympathy for the machine’s owners. Those things are such scams.

I don’t play GTA Online, but from what I’ve read about things in it like the orbital cannon, not even infinite Shark Cards can save you from the trolls and griefing.

Supposedly they did a blood draw earlier:

I tend to agree with you, the PS2 era is probably the last one where we really owned our games entirely. There were few games that were online-only, and all the games that had an online component as well as single player had to function without online access because most people didn’t even have the PS2 network

SSX Tricky remains my favorite extreme sports game, simply because of how over-the-top the whole thing was. In addition to big air and big tricks, it had serious personality for all the racers. Hell, it was fun wiping out, hearing the things your racers would say. After that they went more realistic and all the charm

Not a problem, introducing Warcraft 4: ORCS IN SPACE

Not everyone that’s childless has issues with that kind of thing. I’m single but I fully understand that kids are more important than any game. Granted I have my own issues that make me far more unreliable than any parents, so this may make me more understanding. (Disabled, in pain a lot, can have sudden attacks of
