I know it seems that way for those of us who are affected by it, but it’s doing quite well. There are so many people who play and watch FPS games that it’s obvious the vast majority of people aren’t bothered by it. It’s probably like motion sickness in that regard, where most people aren’t affected by it. It sure

I have, it doesn’t. It’s not motion sickness (Dramamine works for that, although Bonine is better), it’s something else. And it’s gotten worse over time. For example, I managed to finish the story missions in Grand Theft Auto III on PS2, but when I tried playing it on PC last year, I had to quit as soon as I got to

He could just give them to me for safe-keeping. I can’t even play Overwatch without it making me barf, so there’s no chance at all I’d be using them. That’s not a criticism of the game, it’s 3D sickness and Overwatch is far from the only game that I can’t play due to it. Hell, I can’t watch people play it either, that

I figured it was so new, and so secret that it was only installed on Snoke’s mega star destroyer initially. (Especially since that’s also the headquarters of the First Order.) The plan probably was to install it on other ships later, but that hadn’t happened yet.

I suspect we may not have seen the last of Snoke. He’ll probably play some role in Episode IX. His death was too sudden, and too easy.

They’ll probably do like the old TV show Wild Wild West and have fancier steampunk stuff in DLCs. Plus you could buy your own trains and railroads. Don’t think it’s as sustainable as GTA Online is, but they can probably milk it quite a while.

Yeah, I know he died there, and I agree as to why. But I was suggesting that Yoda seemed more real to Luke, less of a ghost, because Luke was going to die soon and somehow the force could sense this. That made Luke closer to becoming one with the force than normal, so he could see and interact with Yoda more like a

I believe force ghosts are the spirit/soul/etc. of the dead person impressed upon the force. This allows them to live on in a way, and even draw on the force to make themselves appear as a ghost. There are limits though, Obi-Wan tells Luke on Dagobah that he cannot interfere or help Luke if he goes to confront Vader

My feeling from that whole scene was that Yoda’s force ghost seemed more – real, for lack of a better word – to Luke because Luke was getting close to his death and becoming one with the force. Yoda’s blue glow seemed to entirely vanish at times, and he appeared much more solid than other force ghosts at times too.

They may be really bumping you up, they just recently bumped us from 25mbps down to 60mpbs down at no additional charge. (At least for now, I’m sure they’ll raise fees again in 2018. But they do that yearly anyway.)

That’s proably the director/producers/artists having some fun. And it can be explained in-universe since it takes place past our current time.

The book did well because of nostalgia from the generation that grew up in the 80s. The cameos and pop culture references have to be there or it has no chance at all. It might be a massive flop anyway, but it looks like they’re doing a decent job on keeping the 80s stuff in there.

The problem is the word Discovery doesn’t abbreviate nicely into three letters like VOYager and ENTerprise do. DIS doesn’t really work, so people turn to STD as the next most logical three letter acronym. (DIS is also not good to use because ‘dis’ing someone is disparaging them.) If it’s abbreviated as Disco like the

As I recall, federal law left open an exception for fantasy sports, so DraftKings and FanDuel are using that exception. Think of it as a loophole. It’s unlikely congress was contemplating things like that when they made the law.

That was some seriously good drugs he took then, albeit not very long lasting.

I just wanted to point out that I enjoy your coverage on this, even though I cannot play the game. FPS games make me barf, literally. But the whole microtransactions/loot crate mechanic EA has so badly bungled in this game will impact other games I can play, so I like knowing what’s happening with Battlefront II.

That’s a definite bot-spam anti-net-neutrality comment. ALL of the bot ones use that exact same text. So report if you can.

In all honesty, it’ll look much better in an emulator (except the prerendered movies). You can also use save states to save anywhere, which is a big boon in Ep. I especially.

Well, I’m waiting to be able to watch it at home, but that’s because I have cystitis and trying to sit through a 3 hours movie + all the damn trailers at the start will leave me in immense pain before it’s over. I’m not sure there’s any movie I’d be willing to go through that for, but I do go watch ones closer to 2

The 3 hour running time is what prevented me from going to see it in the theater, even though I’d originally planned to. I have cystitis, even if I don’t drink anything the entire movie, I’ll need to pee badly before 3 hours are up, and that causes me immense pain. As much as I wanted to see this on the big screen, I
